You're a beast. First video of someone just going through it like you flown this thing a million times. Impressive.

The engineer requirement came after the airplane experienced a couple accidents/incidents that’s why the seat is a stoweable foldable seat. Fire fighting DC-6 and DC-7 operate without an engineer. Gets pretty busy but soooooo satisfying

That has to be the coolest plane. Old and challenging but fulle equiped for IMC.
Like a 4 engined Piper Arrow.

I can't wait for someone to write a compatibility file for Your Controls!
The DC-6 will be amazing for shared cockpit flying!

Probably not by the book but how i start the engines without fail is a bit different from this but easier.
    1) Set mixture to auto rich.
    2) Set fuel pump of engine being started to low.
    3) Set engine selector to the number of the engine being started.
    4) Hit the starter.
    5) When 9 is called, hit the boost.
    6) When 12 is called, hit prime.
With this, never have an engine fail to start with realistic engine management turned on. I personally have found using the last two, too close together, can actually cause the engine to not start requiring a wait before next attempt.

Really great plane. Only issue I've seen so far is the prop deicer doesn't show any current on the prop deicer amp meter anymore since last update. That's part of my checklist in cold weather ops. But otherwise no issues.

Great video. Where did you buy this aircraft? Have I missed it on FS2020 marketplace?

Google "PMDG DC6". You buy it straight from PMDG.

Samuel.D I’m a dummy. Literally did that one second after asking. It just says MSFS compatible. It doesn’t specifically say MSFS 2020, I’m assuming it is of course this version and not earlier?

Great video, but as far as I know there is no possibility yet to map the carburator to an axis or buttons :(
