David died today @ the age of 67. God please give his family and friends peace & comfort. I can't believe he's gone. Seems like just yesterday that I was watching The Partridge family on TV as a teenager.
What a nice message you sent. He was and still is in our heart and thoughts, someone like him can not be forgotten. Thanks David for taking the time, with your songs, and TV shows, it got us through our teenage years. If your not someone who grew up in the seventies, see if you can pull up posters from that time. Posters cups trinkets etc, filled the shelves in stores. It truly was a great time to be kid.
Rest in Peace, David . . . He taught me as a teenager what the word "good looking" meant, not to mention "sexy" and "dreamy". You were SO many girls' idol, and I'm sure that wasn't easy in a lot of ways for you. It took its toll on you, along with other things we will never know about. Some of the comments on this post are absolutely ruthless, and for that they should hang their heads low in shame. One thing I know for sure is your EYES, those GORGEOUS eyes, never changed, and will hold an everlasting place in our hearts . . . BEAUTIFUL man!!!
Fame is not what it is cracked up to be especially when attained at a young age. He gave so many joy and happiness and makes me sad he may have never had it himself. Thank you for bringing me happiness in my life through many hard times. R.I.P David, I hope you finally have happiness and peace.

What a story, just a few years blew past elvis & beatles, rejected the partridge music & show, his solo albums flopped & lost everything in about 7 years. Hard pill to swallow for sure. I was an alcoholic, beat it at 50, I was about to die. I use the bathroom all nite now, but I made it. He was so talented & ended up making a living on what he originally tried to run from. Crazy story
