I havnt seen a southpaw as effective with the right hook as Camacho especially the way he doubles, triples and sometimes shoots 4 at a time. Camacho was special had he lived a focused clean life he could have been even better.
As good a boxer Camacho was he's was Not a fighter. Mexican fighters don't like chasing. Pitter patter punches are annoying. Ramirez did not does not cut off the ring at all. That was his undoing. Shame that Camacho had no punching power.

Hector, very good ring craft
I havnt seen a southpaw as effective with the right hook as Camacho especially the way he doubles, triples and sometimes shoots 4 at a time. Camacho was special had he lived a focused clean life he could have been even better.

I think as the years went on Hector threw less combinations and just moved and Jabbed to survive and win. And naturally that effected the entertainment of his fights. Because I’ve never seen anybody throw combinations with his speed and sharpness.
