That straight left from Camacho was a thing of beauty. Camacho at 130 in his prime was unbeatable. His speed and footwork was unreal. He wasn’t a hard puncher but because of his speed and timing he was able to knock guys like Solis out. Solis really didn’t see that punch coming.
Your most welcome....as we have lots of Macho's fights posted on our web page in our boxing section at ImaSportsphile....so, if you haven't checked out our site....you won't know what you are missing.
Camacho, one of the best when at his peak. He did degrade as we went up in weight and spent years in jail. His bad habits didn't help, as happened so to many other legendary boxers.
And let me say something about Rafael Solis: he was a truly talented, hard hitting popular opponent, he too was well liked by the public at large. Which says a lo more about Camacho, of course, he was a truly all time great.
Antonio's boxing channel except his abilities never really diminished in spite of his troubled life the show always went on didnt it ? and he never had a boring performance, never was knocked out and held many belts as well as his roster of wins he beat Duran, retired sugar ray Leonard,Fights against Freddie Roach, Hauguin & many more. Also he donated alot of money and helped lots of families in Puerto Rico

This guy had mad swagger
I saw this fight Solis got careless and ran into that straight left, thinking he had Hector hurt.
Thank you for uploading this. Love it.
Fun fight
30:35 SRL: The way Solis is coming in...he's going to catch something on the chin. Then 37:51
Camacho was a very talented fighter in the early 80's, it goes without saying the drugs ruined a very talented guy.

Rafael Solis wasn't a bad fighter to me he was a better fighter than his brother Julio who was world batamweight champ
I don't think Camacho wanted Aaron Pryor though !!!! Nooo Buddddy!!!
Would of been a crazy fight. Pryor was a beast.
Did he lock the baby in the closet?? He would be in trouble in today's society.
