Such a great perspective! This is very relatable, I let my mind wander on tangents with each dope idea that crosses it and let that go on distracting me from my current task... I've been working on only focusing/doing one thing at a time so I can be present without trying to multitask during my 'rest time'
@@Luthermallory overall I do feel that I enjoy the task at hand more and feel more 'accomplished' when I get them done, versus multi-tasking and then wondering if I actually did cover everything and do everything I wanted to properly, it almost feels incomplete then
I relate to this so much! Whenever I try and step out of my head, it's almost like my mind intentionally finds something negative to focus on because it's used to such things. I've been executing my battle strategy to kill my victim ego, to keep my mental illness from becoming a crutch. I know I was meant to run and not limp. I'll have moments of when I fall but what matters is that I have to choose to get back up.
Interesting. The negative focus can be an added issue on top of the regular "creative" distraction. I feel you on that. The choice to get back up is truly the key. I applaud your dedication and resilience Destiny!
