Part two of our Nile River Cruise adventure. We sailed from Luxor to Aswan on the beautiful Steam Ship Sudan, the same way Agatha Christie sailed back in the 1920s. This adventure completed our Egyptian travel trip and was the experience of a lifetime!

We are originally from the USA we left home in 2013 after graduating college. We then returned back to the US a year later to build a "normal life." We quickly discovered that it wasn’t for us and left home for good in 2015. We were nomadic for over three years across six continents and 80 countries. It took us 500 blog posts, thousands of nights in different beds, a few horrible meals and a ton of amazing ones until we chose to base ourselves in the Canadian Rockies. Now we travel for half the year and explore the mountains for the other half. We are incredibly grateful for the life we live and hope we can help you meet your travel goals too!

Yes, plese. Do tell us. I would like to travel on it when we are free to do so after the present restrictioins.
I should add that I have already done the Luxor to Asway cruise in at least five occasions in the 1980/90s.
Also, I would like to ask what hotel you stayed in in Luxor. I have stayed in the Sheraton, right at the southern end of the town. I also stayed in the old Emilio. It was cheaper, but the staff there were wonderful with no pretensions about it being a hotel on the cheaper end of the scale. The Chef de cuisine even prepared local specialties for us after he got to know us. I suspect that dear Mr. Bastawi has noiw gone to rest with Allah. But his kindness lives on.
