    The vibration issue only affects the models that have the CVT not the 5-speed automatic. The CVT is in the 15 and 16 model years.

    Really interesting to see the AC clutch relay fuse being the cause of my battery drain on my 2013. My local Honda identify the fuse as the problem of my AC not having consistent cooling and I misdiagnosed it as lack of refrigerant in the system. No leaks detected but I had to evacuate the system due to overcharge. Sadly, the VTC issue only happens on really hot or cold days and I found that if I set the ignition to ACC and turn off, and then turn it back on, the problem sometimes goes away.

    I’ve experienced the battery drain issue, as well as if brake fluid level gets low, all dash lights come on

    I just bought my 2016 CRV about 4 mths. ago, and I'm experiencing problems with about 4 of what you pointed out. front rotars, rough gear changing going down hill, oil leak and I had water just setting in the spare tire compartment. Before this vehicle I had a 2005 CRV; when I got the vehicle it was a little over 67,000 6 yrs. later I had driven that up to a little over 370,000. I had many repairs and bought many tires over an 8 yr. period, and the last 4 yrs. using it as a delivery as well as my regular driven vehicle.

    I had the torque converter issue happen after I bought my 2012 CRV at 73k miles. Brought it in for the Transmission fluid to be changed and the software update. Recently at 96k the issue came back worse than ever. Dealership said the torque converter was faulty but the warranty company inspector said he found clutch material on the dipstick and in the pan, so to be safe they are having a transmission from a 2014 CRV installed. I have seen less reports of the transmission issue with the 2014 CRV so i am hoping this newer transmission is good to go.

      I’m getting a 2014 with 74k miles tomorrow. Fingers crossed it’s ok. Have a warranty with it but hope I don’t need to use it.

      Hi, I have a 2014 and my CRV has the same issue. Slips during gradual (slow steady) acceleration with the 2nd and 3rd gear.

  • @johnfrakes4746

    My 2014 has been extremely reliable overall. It did have the VTC issue, that Honda fixed for me. Now at well over a hundred K, the torque converter (I change all the transmission fluids at 1/3 the recommended interval) is getting weak- some shudder around 25 mph or so. Otherwise, no leaks rattles or A/C issues. Battery drain has never occurred, though it needs them replaced rather early on and I suspect it because they are so small. Even the brakes have been worry free for 65 K :) This 2.4 is a very good engine, aside from the VTC. Compared what my coworkers who tell me about problems and major issues occurring in their 2017+, of many car makes and models, I think overall it relatively cheap to maintain. In five years people are going to shocked the level durability/reliability loss for most cars as this decline continues.

      @kelcyre69 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey John i have some similar problems with my Honda with the shudder when it goes over 25 mph. Did you fix the it( shudder) or it continues? It’s the transmission which I believe the torque converter?

      @@kelcyre69 Am pretty sure its the TC. Giving the car a firm acceleration seems to minimize it some. I won't fix it until it fails.

    Have a 2016 SE with Earth Dreams automatic transmission 49,000 miles it has vibration while stopped in gear. It goes away when shifted to neutral. Should it be covered by some sort of recall? What is TSB 15-046? I thought it was the motor mount. Thank you for the video and the information if you or someone else responds to this.

      I think the RPM on honda crv 2016 is set too low, only 650-700rpm on your dashboard gauges.. if you press on gas while parking etc to 750rpm it will go away, you can adjust rpm higher to make it no more shaking but it doesn't need too, as long as engine doesn't shut down or stop then you ok... no big deal, low rpm will save u more gas while stop etc...
