  • This is how you do the 10,000 calorie challenge. I've rebranded the 10k challenge to make it promote eating disorder recovery rather than promoting disordered eating.     Feeling mentally hungry is hard :(
    You just feel the worst after you eat and you’re still hungry, speciallyyy when people around you have expectations of you always eating small portions, and “healthier options”. :(

    I am feeling so much better about my extreme hunger now. I thought I was disgusting for eating so much food everyday after 'working hard' to get it off. You have definitely made me feel at ease for eating what I need to give my body, thank you so much :)) xxx

    I have never met anyone before who understands what you're calling "mental hunger" and extreme hunger. It's so wonderful to know I'm not alone with having my belly full but still knowing that I am desperately hungry at the same time. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your videos!!!

    Thank you for this... extreme hunger is relentless... people that have never experienced don’t usually get that!!! And I love how you didn’t push to eat beyond your hunger... you also ate a wide variety of foods... none of them were “diet” foods either... I have trouble with that... and by the way... you have amazingly beautiful hair!!!

    Wow you have no idea how helpful seeing this is! The way you completely honour your mental hunger like that is incredibly inspirational. And the way you completely normalize how much you’re eating/how you’re responding is wonderful to see. I obviously have no idea if you were struggling with any guilt or shame but it certainly doesn’t look like it and that is so incredibly inspiring to me. Thank you so so much.       I do feel guilt and shame but try my best to not let if effect by choices or mood. its me and by body vs ED and guilt and I'm determined to win! I hope your doing well and I'm so happy you found the video helpful Xxx

    OH DAMN! I relate so much i'm now on my all in journey and mental hunger at the moment is relentless i'll eat a lot think oh I'm so full 30 seconds later...... nope still hungry. Whats a girl to do but eat, love the channel KEEP GOING

    I'm so happy to have found your channel! I started watching the 10,000 calorie challenges to remind me to follow my body's needs after years of restriction. But most of them are ridiculous, as you said, so I really appreciate your version!!!!

    All the comments are so deep and inspirational but here I am to say that the music is too loud compared to when you talk. I know it's a shitty advice, but I love your videos (they are helping me a lot with my ED) and I think that, if you fix that, they will be even more enjoyable.

    Love the idea and message behind this challenge. You're so right about this and wise beyond your years. The only positive to take away from the terrible experience of your eating disorder is this wisdom and understanding of society and culture and this appreciation and self acceptance of your body and its needs.     I haven’t been dianosed with an ed, but I had one and I feel weird saying that bc I never looked so or was ‘skinny’ and when I eat the half (or whole pringel can) I would feel so bad and my mom would comment on it without realizing...
    I have always been’overweight’ so when I lost weight I felt like a master, if you get what I mean?
    But I can see myself kinda getting into my "old habits" bc I have gained a lot of weight (not trying to my when my anxity set in I eat) but I’m going to let myself eat and not think about it!
    Sorry for this long text but thank you for make me realiz what I am doing to myself❤️

      That much be so difficult! Remember family is oftern unaware that they may be corrupted by diet culture. It’s your body and your life nobody lives it for you... you much do what you need to do to for recovery. Your path 💛

    Thank you so much,you are so helping in my anorexia recovery and video such like this are So dam helping!(sorry for language).
    Guys and girls believe me,food is your medicine and your body loves you unconditionally. You just need to trust your body and listen to it.
    Dieting,calorie counting,compulsive exercising etc are gone messed up "intuitive system" between you and your body.
    It's not really worth it,because if you diet you will develop eating disorder(anorexia,bulimia,ortorexia etc) or bad relation with food and you become miserable or you can trust your body and live happy life (like in childhood,hope you have a great childhood :D )
    Thank you a lot. If you read to this point,thank you a lot that have time to read this.

    New to account.well done chick. I have been having the crusts of toast and then wanting a nibbles of things.i thought that was extreme hunger and I have tried to listen,but have known I could have eating a million times more. This helps so much.

    I really enjoyed this video, the honesty, variety that came with it and loved how you weren't heading to the gym or walking every 5 mins to compensate but and I hate to be one of those people to comment a negative but I hope it's not taken or seen as me trying to be rude... when you had your Ice cream you made a comment "none of this diet stuff" or something along them lines, I recognise the tub as obviously not the "normal" packaging but I know myself that this range was made specifically for a lower calorie option but with the taste and kinda annoyed me you made a very good job at hiding the front of the packaging.

    I wish I had extreme hunger. I have been going through this weird thing for the past year and everytime I eat I get super duper full really quick, It sucks because I have to eat or I will lose weight so I have to feel sick everytime I eat for like 2 ish hours after I eat.

      try eat little and often. its probably you digestive system is a little slow but it should catch-up if you keep regularly feeding it. I also live the quote hunger is a privilege you must eat anyway Xxx

      I have the same issue and was diagnosed with gastritis. Basically my stomach gets really inflammed, so I feel full even when I'm not. You should tell a doctor about it. I was prescribed something that helped when I did.

    If I can ask, how long does it take your metabolism to speed up to need these calories? They are so important and necessary and I am so glad that you worked so hard in recovery. Im scared though to start from restriction.

    awesome video you did amazingly so awesome and inspiring to see you go through this extreme hunger with a fuck it attitude and going properly for it i'm so proud i'm trying to slowly get there and do that but it's hard,very hard ik it's the only way but it's a real rough time mentally because it's like you're fighting yourself but technically it's us fighting the disorder that we need to get rid of and dissattach from,probably wrote that wrong sorry because english isn't my 1st language lol rock on we can do it and i have to keep reminding myself that if you can do it,then i can do it and everyone can also do it.if there's ppl on the end of this then there's an end after this for everyone who chooses recovery and can manage following through that promise and work hard enough to face all the mental and physical challenges to achieved a normal life because in the end i simply want to be normal that'sall i ask but quick fixes ain't a thing i need to actually do the work hope you had a beautiful day keep being you and keep showing us that it's easier than we think it is and we gotta throw ourselves into this head first and do it

    Thank you so much for sharing! I currently need to regain some weight too, but I’m so frightened. Do you have any tips on overcoming fat gain with weight gain? I’ve honestly worked so hard to get to my physique now, and whilst I’m not the skinniest, I really like my current physique and don’t want to change much, but I know I need to gain at least 1-3kg to reach a healthier weight. Any advice would really be appreciated 💕

      Remember why is my best advice, your body will manage the weight. You might gain more fat around the middle at the start but that’s just because it’s protecting your vital organs. This is your recovery bod 💛

    I recommend channel Tabitha Farrah,really helpful!
    And believe it's not to much food,there are only Minimums( even for people who don't have e.d.)
    And I sometimes eat more,yeah I'm boy but it not makes difference,
    I cheerios lover (like Erik electric) and my snack was like 250 gram + milk + pub & jl sandwich + candy + cookie + fruit
    It's normal,keep going You Can Do It,Beat Your Anorexia!

    Literally this was me a few days ago, I ate close to 7000+ calories. I was full but at the same time mentally so hungry and had a really big appetite. I had to take snacks and wait for a little bit to eat another big meal.

      I’m still a bit to self conscious yet to be able to do a fully physique date not because I’m not happy in my body but I cba with and nasty response. But trust me the good baby’s is real 💛

    How can you do this?

    Do you think the extreme hunger would be lessened if less processed foods were being eaten? I know when I eat lots of treats I'm starving not long afterwards, even if I've eaten huge amounts. Just a thought. Well done on today, it's so great to see you enjoying it all 😊

      yes, I talked to my mother in particular as she is my main support and I feel uncomfortable talking to my farther about it as he tends to say something unhelpful. at first she was worried seeing me eat so much as my sister went through a binge- purge cycle but when she realised I wasn't restricting or compensating and she could see the difference she became full committed! and now my biggest support encouraging me to listen to my body. I think this is important as you cant rly on others to commit for you, you have to do it yourself and let them catch up in their own time Xxx

      its very hard but I just remind myself the point of working so hard to challenge myself and how if I restrict or compensate (exercise) afterwards it will have been worthless Xxx

    Hey!! Loved your video, I am getting really educated watching your videos. In India,people don’t usually talk about eating disorders and I love how open and honest all your videos are.I think my friend has anorexia,can you give me some tips that I might be able to do to help her? I have had a conversation with her about this and I even told her to tell her mom to get some help but I just wanted to know how to comfort her.

      Thank you! You sound like an amazing friend, I recommend trying to just listen to her and if you can see she doing something disordered as her why? Try keep a body positive attitude around her and maybe recommend some videos or accounts which she can check out in her own time to show she isn’t alone 💛

      @@Jessicakaity I am definitely going to tell her to check out your channel. She is currently doing better than before but I still feel like her relationship with food is bad. She is scared to eat and freaks out if her stomach increases even a little bit. I feel pathetic and I just want her to understand how beautiful she is no matter what size. And that food is amazing and should be enjoyed, not feared.

      heart_wolfie And i-oop I would t ask about it, that’s a bit rude. It’s really private and none of your business if it’s self harm or not. Also, don’t self harm it’s such a trap and once you start it’s so’s so difficult or stop. Your not fat and happiness should not be defined by weight!
