And so…. it begins!! 🥹
I’m beyond excited to be kicking off my Top 10 Ships project - and what better way than with Dair?
First off, thank you to everyone who took the time to vote back in December. The winning ships are all fantastic - with lots of great variety - and I look forward to experimenting with different styles to showcase them. There were many close calls/ties via the results, and I even had to sacrifice some of my favourites [in honour of vidding other top ships I haven’t edited before / as often]…. because I know I’ll edit with them (with or without this challenge) anyway 😂
This is overdue, but this is actually my first Dair video (and Gossip Girl edit in general) - and so it’s a full 3 minute one to make up for that. I’ve loved Dan and Blair for over a decade (yet somehow love them even more now after rewatching their episodes in preparation for this)?? I’m not sure if I’ll ever get over the fact they aren't endgame, but editing this did help me cope
I’m 100% convinced that Death By A Thousand Cuts is a Dair song. I truly loved vidding this and am overall proud of how the scene selection + style turned out ❤️

I’ve recently gotten pretty invested in Dair while watching the show for the first time. Hell, they’re the only reason that I’ve kept watching after Season 1. They’re interesting and your editing captures their unique dynamic very well!

Ok wow! This edit was incredibly well put together, the lyrics matched perfectly to the scenes, even in some very subtle details! The narrative is but bittersweet, comedic, and ultimately rich in layers, which perfectly encapsulates Dair. I love the voice over choices and the visuals. 10/10! This is my first time on your channel but Im subscribed and I hope you make more Dair! Gonna be annoying with a song rec/request, which totally disregard the suggestion if thats annoying, 'October Passed me By' & 'Stupid Pretty Girl', I just have this inner visual for an awesome MV for both those, but alas, I lack the editing knowhow. Anyway Il eat up any Dair edit you have, with any song! You are very talented, please keep up the brilliant work
