The Asics Court FF 3 delivers a speedy feel, glove-like support, and the stability to withstand the most aggressive movements. Designed for one of the most agile players the game has ever seen Novak Djokovic, this update increases the outsole's contact area creating a stable landing and reduces the load exerted on the body. The upper hugs the foot like a glove thanks to the mono-sock bootie construction, and is more breathable than before due to a more open mesh under the laces. FlyteFoam under foot feels very responsive and cuts down on weight, while the signature GEL technology absorbs harsh court shock.

Just got pairs of both Gel Res 9 and Court FF 3 to try, and the bucket seat analogy is 100% spot on. Had I not tried the FFs, the Resolutions would be an easy choice, but the extra lockdown from the bootie is just so nice once you've tried it

Barricade 13 or Court FF3 or Gel-Resoltion 9 ...Which one is the best ? Please advise.

Is the court ff better for foot and ankle injuries (outside of the foot) than the gel res 9?

I think it might be something that you will have to try on. I think our biggest knock on the Court FF3 is that opening is tight/snug, so putting the shoe isn't all that easy. Once you are inside of the shoe, it is pretty comfortable, and for me I think the cushioning (underneath my feet) is slightly better or more comfortable than the Gel Res 9. That said the Gel Res 9 has more of a traditional entry/tongue, and the overall comfort is pretty decent. It feels like it has a slightly lower ride, and cushion is a bit more firm and responsive. So if the entry, or putting the shoe on isn't an issue then I might lean slightly towards the Court FF3, but hard to say unless you try them on. If you are open to other brands, and comfort is a big factor for you, then I might also consider KSwiss, both Ultrashot 3 and Hypecourt Express 2. Ultrashot is more similar to the Gel Res 9 bit with better cushion, and the Hypercourt Express 2 is just comfortable overall, with good support and a typically a generous fit. Troy, TW

We would give the slight edge to the Court FF3 in terms of being slick and being a great option for sliders on hard courts. Troy, TW

I uses to run through the 6 month warranty from nike on the old nike rafa cage shoes. The court ff3 is slightly more durable I'd say. I haven't tested the gel resolution 9s yet but I feel like it'll be too bulky. Court ff is perfect balance of support and speed.

Runs small purchased a full size larger . The sock design rubs against the lateral malleolus. I know a blister will develop.
