Yeahh,that was Mr.Joko Widodo,our lovely n amazing President.The dance named Ratoh Jaroe/Saman from Aceh Indonesia.There were 1600 dancers from high school student all over Jakarta,they prepared for 5 months.N don't you realize they changed their colour clothes in a second,that's amazing.You could see that Indonesia is multiculture from the songs n dances. Indonesia have Bhinneka Tunggal Ika is the official national motto of indonesia. The phrase is old javanese translated as "Unity in Diversity"

This dance originated in Aceh, a province in Indonesia on the west end, located on the island of Sumatra. this opening ceremony has 5 segments. 1. Water theater from the Majapahit kingdom in 1293 to 1500, "Gajah Mada" which unites islands with water. And this also symbolizes the greatness of Indonesia as a maritime country. This segment closed by raisa with "zamrud khatulistiwa" song. 2. Earth symbolizing natural wealth and diversity of tribes in Indonesia. here displays 19 traditional dances and regional song from several ethnic groups in Indonesia. 3. Air describes the ancestral strength and nationalism of the Indonesian people. So, this segment is not in the highlight footage that you watch. 4. Fire describes the spirit and courage of the Indonesian people. In addition, this segment is also a portrayal of victory as well as the opening of the 2018 Asian Games.
