For this episode we'll be testing the latest chapter 4 season 2 of Fortnite the ever popular battle royale game that continues to captivate millions of player worldwide. And we will be diving into the game's graphics and performance on the Acer Nitro 5 Gaming laptop.
This particular model comes with the RTX 3050 and a 12th gen i5 processor which should be more than enough to comfortably play the game on medium to high settings with ray tracing enabled for even better visuals.

I feel like you enabled Nanite and Lumen with ray tracing and you're getting 100 fps
I have a rtx 3050 TI with an i7 12650h and im getting only 25 fps with all enabled, that's weird you're getting a lot of performance, how did you optimized your pc so well?
I don't want to sound like a jerk, but 25FPS with those settings is pretty bad, brother.. There's an article on Epic's website called "Troubleshooting low frame rate (FPS) in Fortnite". Google it, there are lots of thing that might be wrong with your settings.

I have the same model with rtx 4060 video card and i7 12700 processor. The temperatures are like yours, so I had to set a limit to lower the temperatures, won't these temperatures cause problems in the long run?

95 grados es normal para una computadora portátil para juegos. Y mis fans están configurados en automático.

You'd be able to play the newest games on Medium/High settings without a problem. Roblox won't be an issues at all

How do you get that FPS on the highest settings? Mine can only render at performance mode at 160 FPS, and when I switch to DirectX 12 rendering and the lowest settings, I get 30-40 FPS

Are you using VSync on ? Not sure about if you can notice any diference with game running at 120 /130 fps with a refresh rate of 144 hz...Do you notice something?

I haven't tested the Lenovo. But i can say that the Nitro 5 performs really well so far. No hiccups or major problems after 1 year of use
How do you get those fps? We have exactly the same laptop, with exactly the same features And Fortnite goes at 58/70fps for me on the lowest settings, even when connected to the AC adapter and in high performance mode
Damn man, that's pretty bad FPS. It looks like you are playing with the integrated GPU. Do you have the latest GeForce drivers?
@@SkvalaGaming Yes, I have the drivers updated to their latest version, and the game runs on the RTX3050, perhaps it is because the game currently requires more resources, because in games like overwatch in max settings It goes at 135/144fps, and Minecraft in 100fps lock, it goes at 80/100fps

I'm not sure but how do you get that smoothness and high FPS while you're on EPIC and RTX has been turned ON. Technically when using RTX i.e. the Nanite option I get around 25 to 30 FPS but you're having around 100 FPS all the time. Are you sure you're using RTX 3050M ? I'm having the same kinda laptop with a different CPU which is equal to yours but the same GPU with 75W TGP. Well yours will be 90W but your power consumption is also very low around 50W ish. I don't know what I'm missing in order to get that FPS.
Do you have Nvidia DLSS enabled?

Did you use max settings for the fan while playing or not?
I select the performance mode, in the Nitro Sense app. But in this mode the fans aren't hitting 100% speed

@@vcruzmp3345yeah optimus makes your gpu mix with integrated graphics but it only works with nvidia. Getting a monitor will allow the gpu to be fully used and the fps difference is insane. I used to get around 60-100 but it went to 150-300. In Minecraft I’ve gotten 2000 fps on an acer nitro 5 3050 16 gb ram and i5 10th Gen. Sadly my monitor broke though 😂

@@SkvalaGaming yeah, rtx 3050 4gb and i5 12500h, i have tried various optimizations and i managed to reach like 130 fps on low, definitely not getting to 90 fps on high graphics tho, it's probably fortnite's fault, i have seen other ppl in reddit saying that they also have bad fps this season
i just noticed something, dual channel, i have some ram sticks laying around, my laptop has a single ram stick, i think that's the issue
Yep. Dual channel RAM makes A HUGE difference. On my older PC i was experience random stutter in Forza Horizon 4, due to running a single stick of 18GB RAM@@maxito9984

Acer nitro 5 rtx 3060 16gb ram 1.5 tb storage did everything and lowest possible settings also but it still lags, the problem is only with fortnite, valo works at 200+fps gta v works fine around 60 fps max graphics, but fortnite doesnt work. In fortnite 120 fps in lobby and in game goes down till 40-60 fps

Si aún no ha abierto Nitrosense, haga clic en el ícono de ajustes en la esquina superior derecha para "Configuración avanzada". Debería haber un ícono de interruptor que se vuelva rojo y seleccione "Solo GPU discreta". d-gpu, esa es su 3050
En caso de que esté usando I-gpu ocasionalmente. Si no está ahí o no ayuda. Asegúrese de que los controladores de su Bios estén actualizados y verifique la Bios en la sección avanzada, creo que sí. Para forzar solo gpu discreta. Funcionó con mi 3050 Nitro, decía optimus en la opción dgpu de BIOS, no estoy seguro si su modelo tiene las mismas opciones de BIOS. Pero probablemente desde entonces no es tan diferente. Buena suerte.

disable cosmetic streaming in epic games launcher
change to performance mode in the graphics menu
go on TH-cam and search "fortnite nvidia control panel settings" and copy all those settings
make sure your PC (if you have a laptop) is plugged in and in performance mode when you play
go into task manager and "start up apps" and disable anything you don't need
reboot PC
close all other programs you have open before you launch the game
launch fortnite and go into task manager and right click fortnite and set priority to high
please tell me your game settings please
