This is a short but full of useful information video. I had to pause multiple times but was able to see your written direction on what you are using. Thank for making all these tutorial videos.
You are welcome... I will try to make the mini videos a little less packed but once I got going I realized there is a lot more to cover - and might have gotten carried away! ;)
This was very hard to follow. Please go into more detail about the tools and shortcuts next time. I had to watch another video first to know that you have to select the shape and the curve to perform the boolean subtract.
No... I won't. This channel is about creative work with Affinity Designer. Boolean operations ALWAYS require at least two objects to work. There are plenty of channels explaining the tools in great detail. If you want to learn the tools, take a course, watch other channels, or just play around with the tool. If you want ideas on how to approach things creatively, without a nanny-style click this and then this approach, this channel might be for you.
@2dgameartguru I understand you but some people are really looking for quick fixes to problems they might have. I'm not asking you to change but it'll be really nice for beginners and non-heavy users to have something they can easily follow. Thank you and I'm really sorry for being rude in my initial comment 😊
This would have been a good tutorial, but you left out the fundamentals. If you say "you need to do XYZ, but then you don't bother to tell me HOW to do XYZ then this is useless to me. Slow down and go into more detail. The kind of people that benefit most from tutorials are people who need details, not a general overview
I am sorry this video was not working for. It's a Mini Video focused on one effect. It's not meant as a beginner's guide or an in depth video on Affinity Designer. I stated to tools used in the video and if you are not familiar with them, there are heaps of tutorials and videos out there [including some on my channel and my blog] to get you up to speed.
