i've always preferred atla instead of avatar korra or whatever its called. i grew up with atla since i was younger and i cant even watch avatar korra without getting a bit upset
I feel there is a better way to put it. You see, all fire is light, in its own way, but it is not a hopeful light. It is the light of loss and anger. In a world of low and painful light, Zuko and Iroh were the Sun.
What I find most interesting in this piece is, what it is NOT: It could easily be made as a heroic, quick musical clash of titans. But it is calm - serene. Perfectly catching where Zuko's path led him to: Finding peace with himself - despite the burning nature of fire as pictured by his sister.
Thank you for this music! I have been trying to write my book for ages, but couldn't find the dedication to do so. This music helps me focus and remain on the chair with my fingers on the keyboard. I think I will finally finish it!
That's awsome. I'm also writing a book and I find it difficult because I have college and not much time. But ATLA music and other epic soundtracks help me a lot to get into the the state of inspiration. In those moments I could sit for hours writing my book.
Such beautiful sadness, music brings a tear to my eye. Brother vs Sister, Light vs Darkness.. Watching Azula descend into total madness haunted by the trauma of her past.. even though she was not a good person you can't help but feel sorry for her as her world burns down around and within her and the last bit of her humanity slips away... while still trying to please and feel accepted by her evil Father... It breaks the heart as you hoped she could find redemption like Zuko did, but by the end she couldn't tell the difference between reality, memories, and her won subconsciousness. This music captures all that pain, struggle, and sacrifice, a masterpiece.
Yup, they could have chosen a bombastic, climactic score. But this scene is meant to be tragic, not triumphant. _Azula_ is meant to be tragic, the product of trauma and abuse, given no chance to heal.

The chase music from the Blue Spirit!
the dancing dragon song
arsonist's lullabye
"I'm sorry it has to end this way, brother."
"No, you're not."
It's so epic and emotional
ye especially with how you can hear in Zuko's response how hes just plain done with Azula at this point
Avatar was such an incredible series. This soundtrack gives so much nostalgia.
I want to try and rewatch it

*Zuko: NO!!!*
Such an intense moment where Zuko was willing to sacrifice his own life to save Katara. I’ll never forget seeing it for the first time.
"look what has become of you, brother.''
"look at what I've risen above."
Zuko and Iroh are the light of the fire nation.

The Last Agni Kai is just such an amazing scene in so many ways! They did such an amazing job reflecting the importance of it in the music
I cannot believe I hit the end of this loop without even realizing it. Truly powerful music

I am gonna loop this 1 hour loop for the whole day. This touched my heart, thankyou so much Jafet Meza. ATLA and TLOK always in my heart.
This piece of music is so beautiful and fitting for the final agni kai 🥺
Just finished rewatching this last week. Thankyou for this - gives me such chills!
Man that channel outro really kills the vibe every time. I'd love a version of this video where the only audio is the song.

So good man
Imagine if Avatar 2 gets music with Interstellar and Agni Kai vibe.
That's brilliant idea. Hugs from Brazil!
when you loop the 1 hour loop
Should I make this the ceremonial duels or the climax duel against sayer
Would it be possible that you only drop the violin opening as a loop?
Maybe later this year
Everything changed when Hollywood attacked...
