He still blazes. I love the previous eras with great vocalists, but he's always done it his own way, not what others expected. His dedication is inspirational.
We've sadly lost Jimi, Randy, Eddie and many other great guitar pioneers ahead of their time. lol, he's a narcissist with a KIss syndrome with all those empty cabs and amp heads ... he's nothing like Eddie, Jimi or Randy (who I saw live 3 times), they play songs and he just plays scales - not even Paul Gilbert does that. he's just a fat narcissist whose time is over, if you guys (gays) go to his concerts I can't imagine there being a lot of women in the audience ..
Sounds better than it did a couple of years ago. Seems to be in shape👍 Band is great but I miss stage performance and vitality. Wish he gave his band mates more space.
His accuracy is spot on here , as a few months back when i saw him live he was really bad so i think he must have been pissed off at himself and trained hard to get back to 100% again well done him
Aprovechemos las joyas de guitarristas ke todavía están con nosotros reconocidos mundialmente por su gran talento y larga trayectoria ahora ke todavía están con nosotros apoyándolos en todas sus giras y actuaciones
Funny how if you play an Yngwie song, his management team will hit you with a copyright strike. But he can play Smoke on the Water (and a lot of other copyrighted songs) and nobody says shit. Frank Zappa has rolled over in his grave.
I'd love to see this man taking his talent more seriously and stay on script note for note because I know he can, the skill and chops are still there! , put together a solid band with a skilled vocalist and rock hard and play solid with perfection. As a guitar player myself (not as fast as Yngwie, but still a shredder in my own right) I understand the need to swap out plectrums for that fresh, crisp feel, and better sharpness for runs, etc, but i've often seen him do as he did here and swap to a new pick, literally strum like 2 or 3 notes, toss it, and get another.. Sure, it could be a "bad" one, but I doubt that. I wonder if sometimes it isn't just habit and that is why he does it so often.
At this moment he is more like a show man .He doesn't care a lot about his playing or what types of solo plays in a partiular song .He understand tha people wants to see speed sweep ...

Never seen a guy go through so many picks, he must be melting them after a minute or so, must be were the term shred came from cause he shredded the hell outta those picks, nicely done Yngwie.
