The Akai MPC Key 61 has arrived... Whew!!! First of all mad congrats my brother for getting your hands on this new revolutionary product from Akai. It is most certainly a mixed bag of beauty and braun with the eye-pleasing yet informative touchscreen interface and power-to-the-people approach... giving the user all the tools one could dream of in a standalone keyboard workstation to back up the smoke. And it must not go without mentioning how well you put this video together with all the engaging eye-candy such as your intro, the consecutive transitions that dovetailed thereafter, and simply put... the overall video production. You also highlighted some great picks for what is to love about the Akai Key 61, that most certainly will facilitate ease of use while streamlining music production when inspiration strikes. Especially that Retrospective Record that I consider priceless for those once in a lifetime riffs & shreds when they happen... Nice!!! And your work on the keys can not be overlooked, which was hella-nice while you cooked up a quick demo... that sounded very much like an old Prince classic to me at least known as "Do Me, Baby". A lot of beatmakers who aren’t good keyboard players typically argue you don’t need the Key 61. All your need is a MPC with a MIDI keyboard. I came to the MPC from a digital piano and I think the Key 61 is the keyboard I’ve always wanted but wasn’t available at an affordable price until now. You may have to order it directly from Akai 🤷🏾
The first con is a terrible one. I hope they fix that. Previewing sounds and searching for a particular instrument by typing it in is essential.
@Miguel Henry I totally agree, that’s why I mentioned it. It’s a must have! There are too many categories not to have that simple but much needed feature! 👊🏾
“Talk to the hand..”
I don’t get ur meaning? But thx for stopping by! 🤙🏾
@@IMakeBeats no offense intended: it is an Arnold Schwarzenegger line from Terminator 3. In most youtube clips, the producer makes at least a brief appearance, but all we see is your disembodied hands, sort of like haunted hands. Your labels, transitions, close-ups of equipment are very professional; I just kept waiting for you to appear. Thanks for the video: very informative and helpful.
@@mikegriffin732 That made me laugh. Yes, talk to the hands 🤣 Well like @Loopop, who also never shows his face I figured it's better to see the thing not the person. Again, thanks for stopping by and for the kind words concerning my video editing and quality.
I'm still learning how to be a youtuber. One day at a time, hope you consider subscribing. More videos on the way! 😄
FOR SOMEBODY WHO MAKES BEATS AND DEALS WITH SOUND FOR A LIVING ITS CANNY FUNNY THE SOUND IN THIS VIDEO IS ALL OVER THE PLACE
First of all, i dont do this for a living! I enjoy music. Secondly, i never said i was an expert, its a consistent learn and growing experience.
Interesting to me how u feel like u can speak 🗣️ to the quality of my videos but dont have any of ur own! Why dont u post some videos and show me how it’s supposed to be done, since u know so much more about music and sound! 👍🏾 don’t worry i will wait! 🤔
@@IMakeBeats ooh did i touch a nerve
@user-ug7km1tw2w nope 👎🏾 just keeping it real! Im still waiting to hear ur sound! 🤣
Stop waving your hands
How about u with ur two subscribers stop watching my videos. You don’t have to watch them since my hands bother you so much! Just don’t watch! People like u are haters and a waste of time! Good day! 🤣
Get to the point...2 minutes intro and 'please donate' stuff...
First off, thx for stopping by! I’m going to respond to your negativity with positivity. Secondly, the video is time Stamped! 🤔
so if you don’t want to watch the part I’m talking about, just skip ⏭ to the section your most interested in.
I find it so funny how the haters are always people that don’t have not one video on their channel but tryin to coach you about how to do your channel. Glad you enjoyed the content! 👍🏾🎹
@@IMakeBeatsPlease accept my honest apologies, you are right...i didn't notice the timestamps and wether there where timestamps or not i should not have been express myself like that..., it was a bad moment of mine...i am not a hater...not a creator either...i am just a consumer looking for content...thanks for responding in such a positive way...you made me think twice...
Wow now that’s a real Person that will admit when they are wrong! It’s all good my friend. You would be surprised how often this kind of comments pop up for us creators. Most of us are still learning and growing in this whole TH-cam journey.
So again thanks for coming back and saying what you just said. I receive that from you and only wish you the best!
I’ve only had my channel for 3yrs now on the 27th of this month sept 2022 just made 3 yrs. So I’m learning from the bigger channels and trying to not only educate and entertain, but always create a successful TH-cam channel from A monetized point of view! This gear ⚙️ and equipment isn’t cheap!
So any help from my viewers and subscribers is always welcomed 🙏🏾 but I’m learning that closed 👄mouths don’t get fed so I’ve watched and I’m learning from the bigger channel that it’s best to plug this into the video early on rather than at the end!
Anyways hope you consider subscribing and I appreciate you! 👊🏾
@@IMakeBeats I appreciate your words and now i can realize your efforts to make valuable content...which is what i am looking for anyway...so i will subscribe and keep watching your videos and wish you to evolve to a great channel...
@@ManontheBroadcast thx 🙏🏾 I’m really trying! I have a full time job, I do this because I love music and I Lov to share as well. All the equipment that I show in my videos, I purchased myself. None of was given to me or sponsored. A lot of ramen 🍜 noodles instead of steak 🥩 and egg 🍳 but it’s a sacrifice I’m willing to make to be apart of a community of like minded people. So thx for the sub and the positive energy.
In 3 yrs time I’ve grown a lot. Still on the path. So much more to learn and share 👊🏾
congrats on a new toy 🎛🎹🎹🎹🔥
are you going to replace your current master keyboard with it?
Hey 👋🏾 long time no see, appreciate you stopping by. To answer your question, no I’m still rocking with the Kronos, just as a sound module only. Nice 👍🏾 to see a comment from you again! Don’t stay away! 🎹👊🏾
