i was thinking guenther, crouse, ingram. something involving 2or 3 of them. if they trade then they need a young star. not make a joe thornton trade for 3 decent players.
It’s hard because no teams can match up with our needs. Nobody giving up a C that isn’t more than marginally better than Coyle. And we don’t need defense either. Draft capital when we’re all in doesn’t match up either not fair to Marchand.
@@KyleBng hopefully Marchy blesses us with another year to year cheap deal like his predecessors so we can get him a real RW 🤣 this team is constructed in a way that needs Swayman unfortunate he let his agent play this way but I do think a deal is done soon ish trades just don’t match up for both sides. Can he just let Igor re set the market like a man
Honestly despite what I believe many Avs fan would say, I think the Avs shouldn’t try and go for Swayman, first cause we don’t have much cap space or great guys to trade, but also I think Georgie is gonna be really good this year. And maybe we can come back to this and laugh at it. Who knows
You shouldn't believe him. We know for a fact Gross has not told his clients about offers before. It was revealed during the Nylander situation. Dubas asked at one point to speak to Nylander directly. He discovered that his best offer hadn't been presented. The deal instantly got done. Gross probably didn't give Swayman this 8x8 offer so he's trying to do damage control.
Lots of variables to this, but I wonder if what they got for Ullmark makes much sense now considering how much leverage they gave up when they traded him b4 wrapping up Swayman.
I think he should go to a rebuilding franchise like Columbus or Anaheim since hes young and would be a good fit for him plus they have the cap space for him too
Juss sayin... Swayman...for...Mrazek, Gajan OR Comesso. Maybe throw in a '25 4th (*MAYBE* a 2nd) Chicago gets a GOALIE for the immediate 8+ years to help the rebuild....Boston gets a good (underrated) goalie and a good prospect for the future. Plus maybe a decent pick
Teams aren’t giving up that much on top of having to pay him 8m/ season. Guess people haven’t learned from the “disappointing” returns that other goalies have brought back in a trade
Seattle would need to shed the Grubauer contract for an 8-9 million goalie otherwise you’re paying 14-15 million for your goaltending tandem which is way too much.
If they traded him it wouldn’t be in the East. And if they did trade him it would be for a bag. But in the end he is a rfa they could sit him for two years😂😂😂
The Ducks certainly would not offer up their 1st round pick that is going to be another top 5 selection in a year that they already traded away their 2nd rounder. Asking for salary retention is another non-stater to a deal. The last nail in this is Swayman's age. The Ducks will be irrelevant for the next three years which wastes the best years of Swayman's career. When the team is finally good Swayman is 28 or 29 and starting to look at a decline. Much more sensible to stick with Dostal.
I’m paying him $10 mil before any of these trades honestly (besides the Oilers one) 😭. Can we stop throwing old rebound candidate goalies in these deals when they already have one.
@wresling300 what you need to consider is that contracts dont happen in a vacuum...jack is easily worth more but it was signed when cap space was lower. Contracts are gonna go up as the cap does. 8 mill now is not the same as 8 mill 4 years ago
@@wresling300 I absolutely love Casey, I truly do, but there is not alot of room for him on this team with Luke and Nemec. Jack is also like the biggest steal of a contract in the NHL, so I don't think that's fair to say, I think Luke might get paid more than him when he's extended.
Ullmark for swayman🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠😊
epic blunder by the GM not locking up Swayman before getting rid of Ulmark. EPIC!
Sway to Utah for future considerations

Praying that sway stays as a bruins fan, but if he’s really asking for too much, it’s not worth having him around. I’m hoping for the best.🙏🙏

UFA Trent Frederic, Marchand.
RFA Geekie Beecher Lohrei Kastelic.

Sway is shipping out of boston
This trade will never NEVER happen, but here's a Habs trade.
2025 first round pick (Calgary/Florida)
Filip Mešar
Samuel Montembeault
Alex Newhook
Nooo way as a Habs fan.
Swayman can sit out for the whole year.
Considering the situation, I can’t see Bruins getting value for Swayman.
Swayman to Chicago for Mrazek Allan Dickinson and Toronto’s 2025 1st, not happening but just leaving it out there
UPL and Byram for sway migjt be the best mock trade I’ve ever seen

I really hope so, but considering cap it would be really strange for the Avs yes, only if Bednar wants a win now play, but we dont really need it
I have a hard time shaking the feeling Swayman deserves that type of contract. I feel like he is unproven and a bit of a product of the Bruins system.
I don’t believe that agent tbh
Agreed!

Boston let’s Swayman walk in free agency is the good ending.
He’d have to sit out for two seasons

Sign a term that walks you straight to free agency
Jarry, Noël accari and two second rounders

honestly the leafs one looks the best in terms of value, the first makes sense cuz same division tax imo

Can you do a video on your thoughts about tough guys and "goons" in the NHL? I saw you post on your twitter, thought it would make a good video
They could NOT trade another goalie in division in my opinion. I think Utah should center a package around Ingram and a first.
The wild trade makes sense. Most of these trades overrate the value of Swayman

I wouldn’t want a guy like this on my team.
