- In this video, I install the Mountune Upgraded Throttle Body for the MK8 Fiesta ST and provide feedback on if it gives any noticeable improvement in performance.

@@totaledbifftv9083 The part has generated 30 nm (round about 390>420 nm and 248 ps) more torque. I drive the Revo Stage 1;) 100-200 kmh in 13,5-14,5. (faster than Focus Rs mk3)

Hello thanks for the video, is the hose from pro hoses better than the one from mountune ? Or it's the same ?
Was there much of a sound difference from either induction or turbo spool/blow off?
Thinking about getting this mountune throttle elbow on mine, have the revo remap and induction hose along with a performance air filter oh and a milltek gpf back system,
Can you tell me honestly if you notice any difference between it fitted or not?
Really would love to now before I buy one.

ADY J Hey there, honestly I really could feel the throttle pick up was considerably quicker and the elbow gets the turbo spinning faster so deffo worth it in my opinion especially when you combine it with other tuning elements like this fitted to your care already.

aaronwiltshiresmith no it’s a plastic coloured trim just cut to length and fed behind the existing trim just to add some colour 👍

Hey there the engine cover is standard, do you mean the Air filter covers etc ?

Are you sure the green connector pipe is a fuel pipe aswell, seems abit odd that fuel would be going into a hot turbo ?
It's not the Turbo, it's a throttle body which deals with the air flow IN to the engine. They are two completely unrelated parts. The fuel line sensor (Which is what is plugged in along with another sensor) just tells the ECU the amount of air being drawn in so it can pump the right amount of fuel to match and make the perfect bang.
Did you have any other mods on the car at the time ?
Any idea if this would fit a 1.5L focus mk4 since it's the same engine?
DimitrisCSD good question if you can get the part number of the oem item in the focus I can compare it to the one I have taken off as a way to check?
Looked at some pictures comparing the engine bays and unfortunately the Focus air box is way bigger :( Maybe when mountune do a focus ST kit that might fit!

Where did you get the intake air box from

Thats not an trottle body... Sorry but cant see past it😂 the intake piping you removed was removed from the trottle body, its the one with the butterfly Valve in it
This is a turbo elbow, not a throttle body

It’s not a throttle body just an elbow, there is no throttle in the piece you are fitting
