Her blackness does not allow her the privileges of a white woman. She doesn’t even pass as white like Leia. She is afforded the cultural practice and a place in POC spaces. Even the very concept, phrasing, etc of POC were created by black people. That’s particularly heinous when you take into account the current climate of the US- where she’s from in regards to BIPOC and especially black people.
