@49jubilee You know I never thought of that until now you brought it to my attention that would of been awesome perhaps Tabitha could of acted Elizabeth Montgomery

Wow never saw this one before...interesting how popular psychoanalysis was in the fifties and sixties. Now all that happens is prescriptions are written.
The movement behind the wall in the yard was an absent-minded crew member wandering too far. It was likely deemed too insignificant to be seen on television sets of the era and, thus, they didn't re-shoot the scene. Or maybe director Arthur Hiller didn't see it. The boy character "Sidney" with the baseball cards was played by 13-year-old Michael Burns, who appeared in two other AHP episodes and is 74 at the time of this writing. He did a lot of acting until he was about 30 when he retired from acting and devoted the rest of his life to academia (historian, writer, professor, PhD from Yale.) He and Gina Rowlands are the only ones left. I am writing this on Rowlands' 91st birthday! In addition to her appearance in this episode of AHP, Rowlands also appeared in three episodes of "The Alfred Hitchcock Hour."

I LIKE THAT LITTLE STORY AND THAT ACTOR. HE USED TO BE DARIN IN BEWITCHED. THIS MADE ME THINKING OF MYSELF WAKING UP ONE DAY TO FIND MYSELF A TEENAGER AGAIN AND ALL THE LIFE I HAVE LIVED IS JUST A DREAM BUT MY REAL LIFE IS BACK HOME WITH MY PARENTS WHO ARE BOTH STILL ALIVE, WOULDNT THIS BE FANTASTIC? BETTER STILL I WAKE UP TO BEING 22 YEARS OF AGE AGAIN WHEN MY DAUGHTER WAS ONLY A BABY. IF ONLY THIS COULD HAPPEN. I SURE WOULD CHANGE MANY THINGS.
A Hollywood rendition of a 'timeslip' experience. They are real and happen all the time to many people. What great acting, I guess we can all take life lessons from this short from Hitchcock, APPRECIATE YOUR LIFE and don't sweat the small stuff!
I love all things Hitchcock but I wonder why these Hitchcock Presents are not the full episodes. I haven’t seen an explanation for this anywhere. 🤷🏽♀️
Nice idea, but you feel as though an hour of your life has been wasted; these are dated masterpieces, that don't cut it with the pace of life today. Truncated is the way to go, otherwise you would lose your respect for them.
grow flowers for the bees please I grow flowers and succulent sweet smelling flowering bushes for the birds and bees butterflies ,have tried to encourage neighbors to do the same.

We don't actually see him put the cards in his coat. His back was turned to us. He may have put them in the pocket of his shirt or an interior chest pocket of his suit jacket, both of which he wore when he jumped.
Kate Spurlding, I agree with you. Morals have degraded, and abnormality has ascended, at a horrifying rate. But as you can see from comments you've received, when people are born into a Dumpster society, they find it hard to believe that anyone before them ever lived in fresh air!

The moral. Of the story. Don't take your loved ones for granted. One day you could wake up. And not have them anymore
That was a very exciting/memorable day for me-!!! 🤗.When the misses was no longer here. No more ( Alimony) 💰 payments-!!!🤗

"drown myself"

I didn't see that coming🤣
HA HA. YES, THE KID ACTED LIKE THAT WAS A NORMAL THING TO DO. HE DIDNT PANIC AT ALL.
That ain’t that kid business 😅 the time they grew up in they were seeing bodies drop left and right
Darren Stevens is the reason I clicked. Always loved him.
And how it mysteriously showed up on my suggestions ✨
Gina Rowlands is the reason I clicked & she has been in another of the Hitchcock Presents.
He made "Bewitched" a happy show to watch. Plus, he was talented too.
He reminds me of my father. He looks like him and has the same personality. ❣️
@@angelacarleton9575 IMO "Bewitched" was never as good after he left the show due to illness. R.I.P. Mr. York.
Darren from Bewitched. Hes a fine actor.

He was in other stuff, before bewitched
Richard Allen York
YES, I LIKED HIM IN BEWITCHED ALSO. HE MADE THE BEST DARIN.
Gena Rowlands was beautiful then and she is still beautiful. She is close to 90 years old.
I love her. Gorgeous and soulful.
love her so much
i don't think i ever saw that actor without clothes before. he didn't look bad. they made a gorgeous couple.
She should of received an Oscar for "The Notebook"
Gena is beautiful & what great hair then and now...just a lovely lady.
She was wonderful in Skeleton Key with Kate Hudson.
Endora put a spell on him.
More than once
Has anyone else noticed the plot has echoes of "It's a Wonderful Life" written all over it.

THAT WAS A GREAT MOVIE. I HAVE IT ON DVD. I WATCH IT EVERY SO OFTEN. JAMES STEWART WAS ANOTHER GREAT ACTOR. BUT I LIKED DARIN IN BEWITCHED ALSO. AND IN THIS SHOW.
Remember how we lived on morning glory circle and I worked in advertising and we had a nosy neighbor?

The boy's mother forgot to teach him not to talk to strangers.

I love watching these, while cozy in my bed with a snack.

Thank you for all the infos about the actors!
Thanks so much for this update. To be honest I did not really understand this episode
Had a crush on Michael Burns when I was young
Sadly Gina has just left us. RIP.
The wonderful Gena Rowlands. And that coat in the opening scene is EPIC!

Crazy ending, one only Hitchcock would think of.
Not really, he borrowed it from the movie It''s A Wonderful Life
😂......He was like oh no.....🤣......
Hitchcock never wrote them
