I always thought NSMB was the best introduction to 2D mario for those new to video games. Had the right amount of content and difficulty while still maintaining that signature fun factor.

The first commercial is what an advertisement is supposed to be. Not some cringe-fest. Same with the second, but I personally like the first one. But, that doesn't necessarily make the rest bad. Like the play for instance. They were just goofing around.

New Super Mario Bros was a good game to introduce people to the Mario Franchise, as they get to experience the reebok of the 2D Mario by Jumping, Grabbing coins, Growing with Mushrooms, Shooting Fireballs & becoming a Giant!
happy 15th anniversary new super mario bros.!!! :3 along with run my favorite in the series for having a lot from 64 ds(wish wario & yoshi were playable since their minigames were in it.) and actually feeling new.

The name always baffled me. For a newcomer, this game could sound like a remake/remaster of the original Super Mario Bros., not an entirely new game. This game also began the trend of having extremely similar and unoriginal 2D Mario games.
The Koopa in the thumbnail be like: " why did I put myself through this pain? I don't think it's worth it. Even though I do this for my wife and kids I don't even get any salary. I don't think life is worth it anymore." Mario be like: " come on dude cheer up there's plenty of loose coins here you can get your salary here!" Mario cured Koopas depression.
It's A Super Mario Bros but as Mario touches the mushroom he went Big and the background Super Mario Bros Transformed into New Super Mario Bros. How amazing is that isn't it???
