Thank you so much Zoey, I tried this recipe yesterday and it came out perfect. The bread didn't have time to cook down, it was gone by them. Love your video and recipes.
Thanks for the recipe! Finally got all the ingredients and made this. It was delicious. My dough was kind of wet too but I added 1tbsp of flour and that did the trick! Yummy!
Thank you for your recipe! I tried it and it was so good! Still fluffy when reheated the next day! I just had to add flour as needed, since I was hand kneading it. ❤️
Yes you can use extract, but add more. Some extract are stronger than others. Use 1/2-1 Tbsp extract. You can start with half and try when it’s cooked, if you need to add more then do so.
Hmmm. I'm wondering for the liquid ingredients, did you use the liquid measuring cup or the dry measuring cups for it? I think there is a slight difference between liquid measuring cups and dry measuring cups.
Hi, all liquid ingredients are measured with liquid measuring cup NOT dry measuring cup/spoon. Yes there is a difference between liquid measuring cups and dry measuring spoons/cups.
I don't know what I did, but I needed more then 4 cups of flour to make the dough. My dough was still to wet after the 4 cups of flour. I had to keep adding flour to get the right consistency of dough. What did I do wrong? I used room temperature milk and heavy cream. Could that be why?
Hmm I’m not sure, I’ve made with room temp and or microwave for 30-50 seconds without any issues. I’ve used with several different types of heavy cream and had no issues so I’m not sure why yours didn’t turn out. Your the second person who had this issue but all others who tried were successful. Give it another try, try with bread flour if you didn’t.
@@ZoeyandVFam, okay, thanks. I will try that next time. The bread did turned out okay and taste good after baking. However, it was not soft like your vodeos.
Zoey and VFam This time I made it with bread flour and it is still sticky. I had to add about 5 cups of flour but it is still not as stretchy as yours. So weird. But still taste good.
Are you using bread flour? Same brand? I make it all the time and no issues. Some ppl have been successful and some not. Could depend on your flour. 5 cups is a bit much, but let me know how it turns out.
M Vang sorry it’s not turning out. 5 cups is too dense for the recipe. If you try again use room temp milk and heavy cream or like I mention just microwave one. If your using instant yeast and forget to use room temp wet ingredients it’ll still turn out. Room temp wet ingredients just gives the dough a better rise than cold.

Thanks for sharing. For the pandan and ube, can I use extract instead of paste? If so, will it be the same amount? Thanks.

@@ZoeyandVFam Thank you! will give it a try.

Can we do this without the electric mixer? My humans kids love these bread so I want to give it a try.
Yes you can, you’ll need to knead the dough double the time unless you have strong hands then a few minutes longer.

Mine turn out sticky too. Maybe I’ll try bread flour next time
Either or should not be an issue, but yes let me know how it turns out with bread flour

Ok. I made two batches n they are booth wet??! So I’m adding more flour. I just read below someone used 5 cups of flour. Will see if it rises.

Did you microwave your milk and heavy whipping cream? If you did, maybe it’s a bit too warm?? Try microwaving just one and not the other.
Zoey and VFam ok. That could be my issue. The milk n cream is probably too warm. It’s been an hour n it’s not rising. Lol
Zoey and VFam I used regular flour. Will probably try again tomorrow if these two batch doesn’t work out.

Is this similar to longcheng bread?
No, but I have recipe similar to that which I’ll post after I edit the video.
What! Microwave the cream and milk for 50 minutes! That is almost an hour! Is that right?
Hi, please see description box where I updated “seconds” not minutes.
Did you said microwave the cream and milk for 50 minutes???
Yes that was a mistake, I noted that in the description box. It’s suppose to be seconds.
What brand of bread flour did you use?
King Arthur
