    // ABOUT THIS VIDEO //
    Lauterbrunnen is a stunning, deep glacial valley in the Berner Oberland - and one of the most beautiful places in Switzerland!
    Tip: Clear out your phone to make space for plenty of 📸 pictures and videos that will have you saying, “Oh my gosh, this place doesn’t look real!”
    In addition to the jaw-dropping beauty, here’s what you can experience here:
    💦LAUTERBRUNNEN WATERFALLS | There are approximately 72. No, we didn’t count them, but Lauterbrunnen is also called the Valley of 72 Waterfalls. The 2 most popular are Staubbach Falls and Trümmelbach Falls (Trümmelbachfälle).
    🐮COWS (and the musical cowbells) | Because hello, this is the Swiss Alps!
    🧀SELF-SERVICE FARM FRIDGES | That means Swiss cheese, sausage, eggs, milk, yogurt, and sirup (concentrated juice) in self-service farm fridges and even real vending machines!
    🍺CRAFT BEER | You can’t get more legit authentic than locally-brewed beer.
    📸PHOTO SPOTS | For real, this might be the best and most epic photo spot in Lauterbrunnen Valley!
    ☕COFFEE | You know Brett can’t resist a good ahem, REALLY good! cup of joe! We also show you where to get brownies and a bratwurst.
    👉AND MORE! | This video (and our FREE MAP) features 16 of our favorite can’t-miss spots in this video.

    We were in Lauterbrunnen last week and the line to purchase sausage was very long and appeared to be a must do. The cemetery near the church was so unique and beautiful. Thanks again for your great insight. It was a great help.

    QUESTION about Farm Fridges: My husband and I will be in the Lauterbrunnen Valley for a couple of days in August 2024. We will be doing hiking while there. How much CHF should we have on hand to be able to thoroughly enjoy the farm fridges? I’m assuming those farm fridges/shops don’t do credit cards.

    • @AplinsintheAlps
      @AplinsintheAlps  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Great question! You will need cash for farm fridges because they do not accept cards. Most items are 8-12 CHF, so you’ll want at least 20 CHF depending on what you want to buy (1 sausage and 1 cheese?). Enjoy!!!
