Just spent this past week in Lauterbrunnen (Last wk of July 2022) and Alexis & Louis helped me with my entire itinerary! Though I just returned home last night, i can’t wait to get back. Only one small downside. Most hotels don’t have Air Conditioning (A/C) and it can get a little warm in summer. My first day (Monday) was the last day of the heat wave in Europe. However, I had a couple of nights where the temps dropped and it was very pleasant. Overall - it was an amazing trip! Thanks again to Alexis and Louis for working with me on my itinerary! Next time I visit, I’ll take you out for dinner & drinks!

Apparently this channel has other videos that discuss which rail passes are best for which people especially if you are traveling around Switzerland. We went earlier this month and their info was extremely valuable. Also we got the half price rail pass which for us was a lifesaver but may not necessarily payoff for everyone depending on what they are doing & for how long. Also Austria accepted it too which was great as we were there too!

    • @markusf58

As a Swiss I find it hard to choose „the best“. Jungfraujoch near Grindelwald offers snow the whole year round. „First“ near Grindelwald is great for hikes and the view from there is also spectacular. In Zermatt I‘d take the Gornergrat railway. Gornergrat is the perfect spot to view peaks like Matterhorn… When driving, be aware that some roads may be rather narrow (depending on what you‘re used to…) and bear in mind that speed limits are strictly enforced! Hope you‘ll like „my“ country!
