- 【How to paint hair】This is Misa. I had a go at painting hair with ibis Paint. To bring out the texture of hair, I used "Pen(Fade)" brush a lot. I used the highlight and shadow tools to draw cleanly to create hair with a more youthful shine.

自分用に解説置いとくね
1．線画の下に新規レイヤーを追加
2．下地の色を塗る
3．下地の上に新規レイヤーを追加
4．ブレンドモードをオーバーレイに設定(不透明度は下げて)
5．エアブラシでお好みでグラデーションを
6．4のレイヤーの上に新規レイヤー作成(不透明度は下げて)
7．髪のメインにしたい色で全体をベタ塗りする
8．↑このレイヤーのまま、消しゴムツールでハイライトを大まかに削る
9．ブラシに持ち替え、ハイライトの形を整える(エアブラシを使っても◎)
10．↑このレイヤーの下に新規レイヤーを追加
11．フィルタから水彩境界を選択、調整
12．4のレイヤーの下に新規レイヤー作成(不透明度は下げて)
13．影を書き込んでいく
14．全結合を追加、を押しレイヤーの一番上に持っていく
15．12のレイヤーの上に新規レイヤーを追加
16．エアブラシで髪に更にグラデーションを乗せる
17．ブレンドモードをソフトライトにする(不透明度をお好みで調整)

Edit: ok y’all I think it got it.
So basically she did the base color first and then added another layer, clipped it, then put some bright ass colors and then overlay.
And then she switches her eraser to an airbrush and kinda highlights over the face and everywhere else necessary
This part lost me so idk what to say
Then they return back to the overlayed layer and then starts erasing to add more highlights
Then use the eraser to fade brush the top part and made solid circles on the bottom
Then switch eraser to airbrush and erase the middle parts for highlight
Then go to filter -> wet edge and adjust the shadows
*If you pause at **1:01** you can see that at one point they added a layer that says “pin light” and a duplicate one of the original overlayed layer but removed the overlay. They also never showed that so I don’t know what they were going there. (Or maybe I missed it but I played the entire vid at the lowest speed)*
Now at this point I’m lost but ik they out more bright ass colors and used “soft light” so yeah I hope this helped 😭🌞👺

Edit: I've been using ibis paint without a pen for a couple of months now! Not bad I guess, though my fingers and wrist hurts every time...

Idk how it exactly worked so I tried doing stuff by myself and here's how i got to follow it:
After finishing your sketch, paint a grayish color under layer of the lineart, but honestly you can choose any color,, i just used gray.
Then add another layer above it and clip it above the gray coloring,, click the bucket tool and choose your color and fill up the parts of the hair.
Click on the alpha lock while its still clipped and start adding your effects.
The one in the video showed they used an airbrush first with a light color of the original base and painted it on the entire base.
honestly thats all i know for now ( and how i did mine )
