In my knife cutting cnc, cv mode is disabled(over ridden) under tangential control causing jagged movements, especially during arcs and curves. is there anything u did to make them run smoother
Erik Gendron , hello, you have to draw staright lines as simple lines, not connected to each other. Or try drawing small radius in angles so that you machine doesn't stop, was rhis usefull?
Masso CNC Controllers , hello, its 3d printed, I've made a lot of improvements to the machine parts and rails, also motors, I will post another video now with a metal holder for a big vinil blade
Raif Hanna , hello, i am using a cheap chineese board called mach3 cnc decated board, and pololu a4988 drivers. I Have a newer version of this machine in my videos with nema17 high torque stepper motors an linear bearing guides, thanks for the watching.

Raif Hanna you have to wire it as another axis, 4rh, turn on tangential moves un mach3, enable rot360 degrees in otiins menu, and export *.tap files. straight segments must be exported as single lines, not conected to each other.

Yes, and mach3 4th axis configured as tangential
i use others controller not mach3, i build my cnc mc, i am looking for a program to make the gcode or modify and add the 4th axis into my gcode
There is a post procesor that automatically generates de moves and corner turns, on any g code you generate, i've tried it, work well

Tariq Hassan , this machine uses tangential moves, to cut leather you also need an oscilating knife tool head combined with it
