- Today I am taking a first look at the Just Trains S8 Advanced Underground Stock available for Train Simulator 2019 (64Bit) on the London to Aylesbury Route also by them on a pleasant trip from Harrow-On-The-Hill to Amersham on the Metropolitan Line!

that's more of a train sim limitation to an extent, probably possible to have then looking less lifeless, but considering the majority would be focusing on the driving and going forwards, I doubt developers will implement that for a while

S8 stock is modern and all, but the best thing will always be its predecessor, the A60 stock. A glorious 51 year tenure with drivers in the 1990ss going up to 80mph. Naughty, but they still did it. A60 will forever be in our hearts. ,
They still really needed new trains at the time, I remember that stock( it was unique )but still, don’t say you don’t want air conditioning and doorless cabins?
@@axethepenguin we agree that they definitely needed replacing; A60s were being cannibalised to keep the rest of the fleet going. However air conditioning i could live without considering s stock can get hot and sweaty anyway. And it only goes up to 62 mph. One thing i will give some credit for is the walthrough carriages which i find very useful.

The radio display also shows your train number and OPID (Handheld radio) number. It does update with different signalling centres as you drive along as well.
Definitely not one of my local lines irl... ;)

On the TCMS Control Panel you can change Deicing and sleet brushed. So it is quite functional.

I really want this, but I'm struggling to justify the £47 price (for the Aylesbury line plus this). I was a huge fan of WOS Vol3 and always wished a future volume would be the metline. From the videos I've watched, this doesn't seem to be quite as good as WOS Vol3 was, e.g. because of the lack of announcements (both automated and manual) and the poor quality of the sounds imo. Also, there's no jubilee line AI?
I think I'll wait for now and see if they update it with further functionality, or otherwise if it goes on sale.

The sounds don’t sound right, I go on the circle, district and metropolitan lines a lot, but those sounds aren’t correct.
Where can you get the District line? The links on the website are blocked in my region.
the doors actrily act like that when the newer trains leave before the doors close properly it hapens on the 1993 stock
i went 40mph into a station on the london overground and i regretted it
I am still playing World Of Subways Vol.3 and I also bought this, and WOS Vol.3 is better, but hey, it's nice to see it in train simulator :)
The door buttons are not in the right position though?
Finally, next time can you try the S stock on the virtual district line from Gloucester road - Ealing Broadway please

I love the motor sounds of the S8 stock but I wonder why it is called an S8 stock because the tube train is a called like a 1992 stock(central line)

I haven't got it yet and I'm still debating on whether to get it or not because the I'm not really happy with the motor sounds but the model is fantastic.

The should do it in Train Sim World with simulated incab CCTV screens not static.
technically it should be possible I have seen similar things in UE4
