Very entertaining. I do the same thing when looking at album covers. You can see so many styles of art represented in it's artwork as well as furniture.
Beautiful detective work thanks. I hadn't realised there were so many references (not having read the comics much). What I think I did read once (possibly in the Taschen book about Prouvé) was that he and Hergé were friends .... though my mind may well have made this up. He may very well have been friends with all of them, let's be right, RG always had lots of fans among designers ...
Yeah, Hergé really payed huge attention to details. An interesting detail is the upholstered armrests of the Prouvé chair. Have never seen this on a real chair, it might be an alteration made by Hergé himself.
The artists themselves paid a lot of attention to each strip they drew. It's amazing.
Yeah, it's really interesting to look for "real" design objects in cartoons like Tintin. Also the cartoons by Franquin is filled with design objects.

another good video, keep up the work...
Thank you.
Roger Leloup is behind many of the object and vehicle designs in Tintin. His own comic was Yoko Tsuno.
nice story!
Thanks!
Hm, my grandparents had a lamp like this. I don't know what became of it.
Lytespan pole lights ?
Hm, don't really think so. The lamp seen in Tintin is more of a traditional floor lamp with a circular foot.
Lytespan pole lights?
