Those Bibles and all other modern Bibles are translated by the wrong people, and from the wrong manuscripts. If you truly wanna hear from God, read the King James Bible.

Jesus Christ is God incarnate who came to earth to be born and live a perfect life, a sinless life. (He is one person of the Trinity, consisting of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; one God in three persons not three Gods.) Jesus then gave Himself up to be crucified and died to pay for the sins of the whole world. My sin, your sin, the sins of everybody. 3 days later He was resurrected. He now offers salvation to all who will turn from their sin and trust Him to save them from eternity in hell. He paid our debts because we couldn't, but we have to trust Him to do it. I cannot add anything to what He has done (not even baptism). I cannot do enough good to take even a year off of my death sentence in hell. The sentence is a never ending one, because I have sinned against an eternal God. But Jesus took my punishment, He saved me, and offers that same salvation to you. I am praying for you.

Really enjoyed your visual feast of these magnificent Bibles, and for the wealth of detailed info on their production. I'd long understoon that every 1611 KJV Bible extant is unique because of sheet mix 'n' matching (plus page type resets), nice hearing that comment from Helen on this. I didn't realise that the OT title page was so much rarer, having not long survived the punishing processes of printing.
I worked in a printing house in my eary years, collecting spent lead type and melting it down to pour ingots for the linotypists. The type of 1611 wouldn't have lasted the 'press' too long before a page reset was needed. A great opportunity to correct any typos, and introduce a few new ones! Errors are the strength of the book's credibility, not it's weakness.
    Great presentation. Thank you. Alvin.

Many thanks to professors Gordon Campbell, Helen Moore and all the others who made this presentation possible. I have sometimes wondered if there were any scholars remaining who could answer questions about the Bible. I feared they may have all passed away and their knowledge with them. I have at least one question about the English of the Authorised Version. It concerns the custom in I Corinthians. Almost anyone is willing to answer the question is unqualified to answer. I appreciate the honesty of those who acknowledge their lack of understanding, but this question has been with me for years, and is nontrivial. I will endeavour to find a way to contact one of you. Again thankyou for this presentation.
    Sincerely,
    William K. Earl

Very nice video, and educational regarding Bible history.
But one small correction around 41:20. The Israelite women in question were not Jews, but Israelites or Hebrews. Except for the Book of Esther, you will not find them called Jews anywhere in the OT. That word came along much, much later and constitutes one tribe of twelve with the Jews coming from the tribe of Judah...namely after the Babylonian Captivity. Moses was from the tribe of Levi. To call the ancient Israelites who lived c. 1500 BC Jews is unbiblical and erroneous.

    • @joeymac6970
      @joeymac6970 4 ปีที่แล้ว +7

They are based primarily on Codex Siniaticus and Vaticanus. The claim they come from the 3rd century AD is very dubious. But even if they did it means nothing as old doesn't equal best by default. People were corrupting the word of God in Paul's day. In addition, these two sources contradict each other many times and are riddled with error.
      Search it out.

The "he"/"she" bibles.... Either are correct.... They both went into the city..... The term "charity" is superior to the Hebrew term "love" due to the fact, charity is always love, love is not always charity! Charity teaches a physical love like helping someone because you love them....

Well who are they and what is their reliability
Their are those who are always trying to create doubt
I use kjv only and read many times and continue to do so
      Kjv did not use textus
      Buy William Tyndall
I see. Nothing in kjv that would lead me to doubt that god is our creator and Jesus is god why descended to earth thru I The virgin birth of Mary who was in the form of man but I also truly God and the only one who lived in heaven after
Christopher and his angels who tried to take over God’s place were thrown out of heaven so he gave us the true word of God and he was God and no doubt he died on the cross for our sins and t through his death the only perfect one to walk on earth and here’s where all sinners and in need of repentance of our sense before we die and Jesus suffered our sins and gave us redemption from our sins and took them upon himself grace through faith and then he gives us the Holy Spirit which is God within us so the holy trinity is one in the same God the father God the Son and God the Holy Spirit and when we repent he gives us that free gift of salvation nothing that we could ever deserve and watch we receive that that free gift of salvation we are forever saved and cannot lose our salvation and will be with Jesus In eternity
And revelations was given to John by Jesus and yes angels which tells us after the second coming of Jesus and ultimately the creation of the new heaven and new earth and will live forever and ever with God in eternal peace where there is no hungerThere is no thirst there is no pain forever and ever
What else would I need to know. So I will continue to use the king James version and use it is as my source to pray through Jesus to God the father and do the holy spirit that is within me so that I will be able to learn more and more about the true wisdom of God and pray that he will give me the courage and strength to do his will and not my will
So why do we get all these other versions and the only reason that I can think of is that they are trying to change the Word of God for the sake of confusion. The king James version used William Tyndale and not to textus my full faith and trust is in Jesus and scholars are so-called scholars I have questionable motives so I will go with the king James Versions let all the scholars fight among themselves who is right and who is wrong or who is wrong
My true faith is in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior and not any man
There are many out there for sure who try to cast doubt and many receivers as Satan himself is the father of all lies and a great deceiver.
Bless you the best answer I can give
There is only one way to salvation as Jesus said I am the way the truth and the life no one, to my father except through me

You realize a triangle isn't evil inherently? Also Masons and occultists often steal their symbols. The Bible does not mention anything about any "triangles", but it does seem to mention the Star of David. Regardless if you buy a Bible simply for imagery then you're not buying it for the right reason. This is the infallible Word of God (of course with the addition of the apocrypha)

Here is how to be saved

"Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and ... he was buried and ... he rose again the third day according to the scriptures." (I Corinthians 15:3-4)

Eternal torment would violate God’s justice. (Deuteronomy 32:4) When the first man, Adam, sinned, God told him that his punishment would simply be to pass out of existence: “Dust you are and to dust, you will return.” (Genesis 3:19) God would have been lying if he were actually sending Adam to a fiery hell. God does not even contemplate eternal torment.
Is God love? (1 John 4:8) A loving God would never torture billions of people for eternity nor does He ever say He will in our Bible. This is man's misinterpretation of scripture and man's church tradition which must scare people into attending services and paying tithes which is also not biblical. Once we learn how to identify mistranslated text in the popular KJV Bible (over 20,000) and how to divide Scripture properly, attributing what was meant for the nation of Israel and what was given to the apostle Paul for today's believer, the truth becomes crystal clear. But... if we mix doctrine and apply to Christians what was meant for the Jews, we see nothing but contradictions in our Bible. Salvation is now a free gift from God and there is nothing we can do or should do to receive it. Jesus did it all on the cross and all we need do is believe. If we attempt to gain our own salvation through works, we're simply saying that what Jesus did wasn't good enough and we need to add something to His sacrifice. When we believe in this manner, we make void the power of the cross. We need to stop judaising our Gospel given to the apostle Paul and start following the doctrine of our dispensation described in Romans - Philemon. If we reject Christ and His free gift of salvation, we are separated from God for the age by our choice along with 'everything' antichrist and NOT eternally tortured. That would be contrary to what a loving God had planned for all mankind. Can you really imagine our God torturing one of your family members for all eternity? No! - this would be vindictive and not just. Remember... the wages of sin is death, not eternal torment. Once we learn how and why the KJV Bible wrongly translates and applies the words aionion, Sheol, and Gehenna we realize why we can abandon our belief that God could lose the overwhelming majority of His creation to an Adversary that eternally tortures them which is not only unbiblical - it is ridiculous.

6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

the real true translation of the word of God into the English language is not the 1611 King James Bible, changed and corrupted by Freemasons and devil worshippers. The real true word in English is the 1560 Geneva Bible, the Bible King James outlawed , he blamed the notes in the Bible as an excuse to condemn it but really and truly they were mad that for once the people had a translation by the people, not government approved or watered down with verses changed to confuse you and make things unclear(like the King James Bible). These were real God fearing men who wanted everyone to have the truth. They made it easy To buy and affordable unlike any Bible before it so that people could buy it will less than a weeks wages, no other Bible was affordable for the average person before this. They risked their lives translating this, and fleed persecution , it was translated with a passion for people to know the Scriptures in truth. It was published in Roman type print which is easy to read, not gothic print like the 1611 KJV which is very hard for someone to read especially people who weren’t very literate back then. The King James Bible used a lot of difficult, unnecessary choices for words (which they try to call poetic) as a way to confuse people as to what the true simple words should have been. I’ll put some examples below. The Geneva Bible of 1560 was the first Bible to be translated directly from the Hebrew and Greek, and the first to have numbered verses. This 47 man committee story about the King James is such a load of nonsense it’s a government, Masonic translation that has been corrupted and changed. The Word is alive when you read from the Geneva. I’d say the 1560 Geneva is better than the 1599 for sure as the 1599 had errors. They have done a very good job hiding the Geneva Bible from history there’s really not a lot out there even though it was the most popular Bible before and even after the 1611 was published. Banned printing and serious sanctions for owning it caused it to be pushed out of the public view , it was a political attack on the Word that caused it to cease. When the 1611 first came out it wasn’t accepted by anyone but the controlling corrupt Church of England. People were still reading and doing sermons from the Geneva after the 1611 King James Bible was published ,so they had to ban it and make printing it or importing it illegal. Hardly a testimony of a publicly received text is it? We’ll never know how bad the oppression was against readers and using the Geneva Bible because the evil powers above control what history we hear to the masses, but not all, so we know enough to know the basic truths about what happened. The history of the 1611 King James Bible is a complete lie. Guys I wish you all the best and I ask you to pray about this and don’t take my word for it, and if you can, get yourselves a 1560 Geneva Bible from Hendrickson Publishers and see how much clearer and better it is I promise you you will be shocked! I was, it was the best decision I’ve made. Or go to
www.genevabible1560.com where you can read it online with modern day spelling for free. MANY PEOPLE FIND IT HARD TO ACCEPT BUT THE GENEVA BIBLE IS SUPERIOR IN EVERY WAY. IT CAN BE A HARD PILL TO SWALLOW BUT I PROMISE YOU IT IS TRUE. GOD BLESS YOU ALL.
Here are a few examples of weird differences in verses and parts of verses that have been omitted that exposed certain truths… between the 1560 Geneva Bible and the 1611 King James Bible:
    1560 Geneva Bible Psalm 5:6
Thou shalt destroy them that speake lyes: the Lord will abhorre the bloodie man and deceitful.
1611 King James Bible Psalm 5:6
Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the LORD will abhorre the bloodie and deceitful man.
    1560 Geneva Bible Ephesians 6:12
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, and against worldie governours, the princes of the darkenes of this worlde, against spiritual wickednesses, which are in the hie places.
1611 King James Bible Ephesians 6:12
For wee wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against rulers of the darknes of this world, against spiritual wickednes in high places.
    1560 Geneva Bible Acts 3:19
Amend your lives therefore, and turne, that your sinnes may be put away, when the time of refreshing shal come from the presence of the Lord.
1611 King James Bible Acts 3:19
Repent yee therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shal come from the presence of the Lord.
    1560 Geneva Bible 2 Thess 2:3-4
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shal not come, except there be a departing first, and that that man of sinne be disclosed, even the sonne of perdition,
4 Which is an adversarie, and exalteth him self against all that is called God, or that is worshipped: so that he doeth sit as God in the Temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
    1611 King James Bible 2 Thess 2:3-4
3 Let no man deceive you by any meanes, for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sinne be revealed, the sonne of perdition,
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himselfe above all that is called God, or that is worshipped: so that he as God, sitteth in the Temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
    1560 Geneva Bible Romans 12:3
For I say through the grace that is given unto me, to everie one that is among you, that no man presume to understand above that which is mete to understand, but that he understand according to sobrietie, as God hath dealt to everie man the measure of faith.
1611 King James Bible Romans 12:3
For I say, through the grace given unto mee, to every man that is among you, not to thinke of himselfe more highly then hee ought to thinke, but to thinke soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith
    Geneva Bible 1560 Philippians 1:21
For Christ is to me bothe in life, and in death advantage.
1611 King James Bible Philippians 1:21
For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

The Dangers of King James: Here we go! If we are dedicated to going by Scripture, which translation are we going to prefer? The ONLY translation that contains the word Easter instead of Passover is the King James. You may ask, "What is the error?" Do you want your children to grow up worshiping a pagan fertility goddess, or the only true God who caused the angel of death to pass over the houses of the people Israel who had put blood on the doorposts and lintel? Our culture is more interested in eggs and bunnies than on the true meaning. What other Christian celebrations have been hijacked for secular purposes?
How did the word Passover in Acts 12:4 get translated as Easter? Isn't that a variant of the name of a pagan fertility goddess? That would explain why our culture is more interested in eggs and rabbits than in Jesus at that time.

Well, the first couple in the world (Adam and Eve) and they were Black people because they were formed from the dust of the ground.
(Genesis 2:7-And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.). Eve and Adam were the father and Mother of the living up to date. Therefore Black coupe produced the White people into this wicked world of Satan.... Another interesting historical facts the story of the Osiris, a prominent god of the Heliopolitan Ennead, is best known as the god of death, even though he took on many other names and forms in ancient Egyptian mythology over time. Osiris is the god of death. Burial and resurrection. Just like Jesus Christ.
Jesus name in Hebrew is Yeshua and in English is Joshua. His called in Heaven Emanuel meaning God with us. He lived in Egypt for good 12 years as black man. The son of God and he’s God too.
Finally, is the Bible really the true word (Logos) God? 2 Timothy 3:16-All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness? When the Romans Catholic (Constantine and Alexander the Greek) had corrupted the Bible. So many denominations religion these days, my question is which one teaching the right doctrine and actually worshipping the God.
Polytheism is the belief in many God’s.
Who in this world today actually heard or hear from the Creator since 2019 years ago? If you do why is not the Bible? We know the James Bible is at least hold above other Bible versions.
God said He created the evil and the good. Adam & Eve eat the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. I think we are, that's we are living dead. Men have eaten eaten and have in us evil and good in the world today.
The only way is have one to one relationship with the Creator.... The White people need to take off the images of white God out of the Church and Black people needs to stop winding and sit up and face up to new challenges.
We need to do our best and the Bottle Line is you are going to died one day rich or poor, Faith or no Faith,
If rich and die and there is no God you win
If you poor and die you lose
I believe there's God and He doing for the 2019 years ago I don't know. Also, Satan is the ruler in this world. I also believe that one day in the next life (Eternity) we will like Adam and Eve again before they sin.
Love one another (White and Black, Yellow and Blue) One God, One people and One Earth&Heaven. Stay Strong and know you are going to die poor or rich.

Aaron is there because he was the first high priest, and he represents the Levitical priesthood, while Moses represents the law. And of course, God is the lawgiver, and the Lord Jesus Christ is our great high priest.

@Steven L : They are not Catholics. And just because you don't like the idea that King James believed only the clergy should read the Bible, doesn't mean it is not true. I realize it doesn't fit into your basket of beliefs, but King James was not a fundamentalist or a Baptist.
In fact, among his instructions for the KJV, he ordered the translators to be sure to use words such as "Bishop" instead of "pastor" or the like; ensuring the people were subject to the bishops, who were in turn subject to him, thus cementing his headship of the Church of England.
King James had no toleration for independent churches that were not subject to the king!

@Steven L Concur to the topmost core, mate! Besides, Aaron was appointed as priest from the Tribe of Levi, while Lord Jesus traces His Priesthood from Melchizedek and the Tribe of Judah, which means a change of priesthood. Again, the aged professor along with the cute, intricate young lady in this video represent Catholicism as a Christian religion. In the actual reality, Catholicism is a filthy feculent cluster of occultic religions, based , mainly, on sun worship (Sol), with Mother/son worship, shrewdly and subtly attributing it to Mary & Jesus. Moreover, this occultism-based hodge-podge has been mendacious from its very inception, shamelessly twisting the Holy Scriptures, say, about Peter allegedly being "The First Priest and God-appointed Pope". It's a foul, obnoxious lie . The famous verse this "Mother of Harlots and abominations of the world" so ostentatiously bolsters for its Doctrine in reality is translated this way: " And I tell thee, thou art Peter, (meaning "pebble" in Greek Textus Receptus, and by NO means "a Rock"), then goes a coma, and , "and on THIS ROCK (The Lord is referring to Himself) , "I will build My Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it". Here, even a primordial caveman will get the idea that a mortal man like Peter could NEVER be implicated as the emphasis of the Rock on which The Lord's Church was being planned to be erected! Only Jesus Himself could qualify for and be well capable to handle this Assignment! How come so many people both have been and still are being so credulously duped into this hodge-podge concoction of this Catholic Mother of Harlots! Going on further, the "Peter" character implied by the Roman Papacy was definitely NOT the character of the true Apostle who had been one of the Apostles of The Lord Jesus Christ. The "Peter" the Vatican harlot teaching is underlining its statements on , in reality, was Simon the Magus who was highlighted in the Book of Acts going after the real Apostle Peter and watching him baptise the believers with the Holy Ghost by laying on of hands. This Simon Magus then expressed the insatiable incentive merging into passionate desire to "buy" this Gift of God by cadjoling Apostle Peter to take a solid subornation. And, of course, got shovelled off by the Apostle at once. Eventually, this Simon Magus transited to Rome where he had been offered the office of the First Pope. And then all this "cock-and-bull" hocus-pocus story with this "Peter-thing" was cooked up. Therefore, to sum it all up, Catholicism is nothing special but an Entity named "Mother of Harlots and abominations of the World" named as such by The Angel of The Lord in the Book of Revelation and having an affinity with True Christianity as much as an ape has an affinity with humankind. So, it would be paramount wise not to buy all this cooked up farrago from this Harlot of Babylon named "Catholicism", with the Pope being a direct vicegerent of Satan on planet Earth!

When did I say anything about King James? King James had virtually nothing to do with the translation. I personally hold to the King James Bible, but not because of King James. All he did was authorize the translation, he had no say in what went into the translation, so you’re lying. He didn’t even fund it! Plus, as you mentioned, King James persecuted my baptist forefathers, so he was wicked as far as I’m concerned. But the Bible he authorized the translation of is true to the original manuscripts, unlike the modern versions of today based off the corrupt Alexandrian texts. So for that, I’m thankful he authorized it. But other than that, he had nothing to do with it.

The original 1611 King James venison had over 30,000 mistakes most of which have been corrected of these changes and bad translations. That many errors show a design and plan. Because it hard for 54 scholars to miss up that many times by accident. Either it was on purpose or they were 54 of the most incompetent scholars in history and they had no business even trying to translate the Bible. Here is a small listing of only few of them. They are thousands more. This author has found over 4,823 examples, all through I humble admit I have not even begun to scratch the surfaces. Here is a small list of a few:
    Luke 1:28
( King James Version) Hail, "thou that art highly favored,"our Lord is with thee
(Should Be) Hail "full of grace," our Lord is with thee.
    Genesis 3:15
(King James Version) "Its" shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt "bruise his heel."
(Should Be) "She" shall bruise thy head in pieces and "thou shalt lie in wait for her heel."
    James 5:16
    (King James Version)"Confess" your "faults,"
(Should Be) Confess," therefore, your "sins" one to another
    Corinthians 9:5
(King James Version) Instead of "woman", they translate "wife" here also
(Should Be) Have not we power to lead about a "woman", a sister
    Acts 20:28
(King James Version) Where in the Holy Ghost hath made you "overseers, to feed the church" of God
(should Be) Take need to yourselves, and to the whole flock, wherein the Holy Ghost hath placed you "bishops to rule the church" of God
    Matthew 11:10
(King James Version) Instead of "angel" they say "messenger"
(should Be) For this is he of whom it is written, Behold, I send mine "angle" before thy face.
    1 Timothy 9:14
(King James Version)For the word "graces" they say "gift" and " presbytery" the Greek word rather than the English word, "priesthood
(should Be) Neglect not the "graces" that is in thee, which is given thee by prophesy, with imposition of the hands of "priesthood."
    1 Timothy 3:8
(King James Version) Likewise must the "deacons" be "grave"
(should Be) "Deacons" in like manner "chaste," not double-tongued
    James 5:14
(King James Version) Elders for "priests" here also
(should Be) Is any man sick among you? Let him bring in the "priests" of the church, and let them pray over him
    Acts 15:2
( King James Version) The "priest" they say her also "elders"
(should Be) They appointed that Paul and Barnabas should go up and certain other of the rest, to the apostles and "priests" unto Jerusalem.
    Genesis 47:31
( King James Version) And "Israel bowed himself upon" the bed’s head
(should Be) "Israel adored God, turning to "the bed’s head.
    Romans 11:4
(King James Version)I have left me seven thousand men that have not bowed their knees to "the image of" Baal
(should Be) I have left me seven thousand men that have not bowed their knees to Baal
    Genesis 37:35
( King James Version) I will go down into the "grave"
(should Be) I will go down to my son into "hell" mourning
    Genesis 42:38
(King James Version) For "hell" they also say "grave"
(should Be) You will bring down my grey hair with sorrow unto "hell"
    3 King 2:6,9
(King James Version) "To the grave
    (should Be) Unto "hell"
    Hosea 6:14
( King James Version) O death, I will be thy "plagues;" O "grave", I will be thy destruction
(should Be) O death, I will be thy death; I will be thy sting, O "hell"
    2 Timothy 4:8
(King James Version) For "justice" they translate to righteousness and for a "just Judge" they say a righteous judge
(should Be) Concerning the rest, there is laid up for me a crown of "just ice," which our Lord will render to me in that day, a just Judge
    1 Timothy 5: 17
(King James Version) "Elders" also in this Bible
(should Be) The "priests" that rule will, let them be esteemed worthy of double honor
    1 Timothy 5:19
(King James Version) Instead of "priest" they put "elder"
(should Be) Against a "priest" receive not accusation
    Psalm 6:5
(King James Version) In the grave, who shall give thee thanks?
(should Be) But in "hell", who shall confess to thee?

The King James Bible is 100% error-free. This has been well covered by many people. See, for example, G.A. Riplinger's book "New Age Bible Versions". All English translations after it are taken from corrupt manuscripts and are satanic trash.
Here is how to be saved
"All have sinned and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)
"Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and ... he was buried and ... he rose again the third day according to the scriptures." (I Corinthians 15:3-4)
"The blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin." (I John 1:7)
"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved." (Acts 16:31)

Tommy Black KJV-Only is Bible-elitism that makes an idol out of the Bible and is wholly unprofitable for anyone. When “believers” convince themselves that it is acceptable to condemn and judge you over the Bible translation you prefer, we can clearly see that there is a problem with their “spiritual fruit”…
And while we are on the subject of judgement, condemnation, and spiritual fruit, let us be reminded of Jesus’ actions in John 8:
John 8:6-7 But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger. When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.”
Remember, there WAS someone amongst that crowd who was sinless and could have cast the first stone - Jesus Himself. Yet He did not. Let us all be more like Jesus.

The 1611 KJB is the Bible of the Anglican Church and they wrote it under command of King James. Then the Anglican King James outlawed the Geneva Bible and all others. You know what happens if you defy the King, you are stretched racked put in a heated Iron Maiden, etc. The Pilgrims at Plymouth wouldn't touch the Evil King James Bible. The founder of most English Baptists John Smyth an Anglican Priest self Baptized then baptized his followers as he had Observed the Anti Baptists AKA. Penn. Dutch etc. a Yiddish or Hebrew speaking white people who's church and most of the people came out of Africa, yes Ethiopia to be exact as it was a fallen empire that had stretched from the Indian Ocean to the Atlantic and they were immigrating due to the colonization of Africa, prior Muslim conquests etc. Remember the age old saying we are a little Dutch but not much. Thomas Jefferson and his two wives were of these people and so was much of America but we've forgotten. We are the people of Judah and the people of Christ's, Yeshua as in Hebrew and his AD 100 Church. We are the people of Hannibal, have you ever wondered why towns were named Carthage etc. The US constitution was Authored By Thomas Jefferson, who had come through Ethiopia and that prior Ethiopian Empire is more like the USA than any other. The Church came from Israel, Judah, Ethiopia then to the world mainly the United States. Our history didn't come all from Europa as the text books tell us. I was in a 1611 KJV church the Anglicans were in the process and at first it was a solid church. Yes I still don't know what it was or became but it wasn't Gods Love any longer the lamp stand had been quenched, and afterwards many times the Preacher and the children would be found out to be LGBTQRST or thieves etc. I'm not an Anglican and many Baptist churches aren't either, but these are.

These two people here are demons dressed up like honorable people! Theyre just further trying to whitewash the bible when everyone already know that these people they're speaking of in the bible are people of color! So soon as you start seeing Caucasian people in the bible you automatically know"this is some bullshit".

@Lance Robb. Dear mate, let's start with the obvious point, that, both Anglicans and The Geneva Bible-believing adherents , both were set against the Roman Papacy and its perverted Latin versions, based on deliberate mendacity and forgery of God's word. King James I was equally pitched against the Papal Rule, and he adopted and approved the translation of The KJV Authorised Version which was 95 percent translated from the 1560 Geneva Bible. The Anglicans and the Protestants were in fact Protestants, of Protestant origin, since both these groups (which had, actually been ONE single whole) , they emanated equal disregard and opposition to both the Pope and his institutions, as well as to Latin counterfeit Vulgate version. The indictment which you have hurled down on King James Bible, all of these concoctions are just a repulsive mendacity and nothing more. You badly need to carry out an uwavering heartfelt repentance for calling the intrinsic true translation from genuine Hebrew, Greek and Aramaic God-inspired manuscripts the way you have so cynically and obnoxiously uttered. Otherwise you are in grave danger of spending ages-long gruelling in hell, and that's not a cute joke. God won't loiter to reckon for the blasphemy. On top of it, could you please provide authoritative evidence to back your entire assertions up?

    • @JayJay-lu4et

@@EminentSeafarerGIO : the KJB was not 95% translated from the Geneva Bible. The Geneva Bible was one of many sources including The Bishop's Bible, Masoretic Text, Greek Septuagint, TR, Tyndale's Translation and Latin Vulgate.
King James did not even like the Geneva Bible, in fact, when the KJB was finished, he made a law forbidding people of England to read the Geneva Bible.

@@JayJay-lu4et Thanks for the hearty admonition, mate.
However, WHERE did you pick up the idea that King James 1 had a contempt for the Geneva Bible itself? Nowhere!
King James had his heart and soul in for the Protestant Reformation to get disseminated and catch on. He disdained NOT The Geneva Bible itself but the footnotes in it, particularly where kings and rulers were linedropped as "vi cious tyrants", "corrupt dealers", etc. THIS had been the driving flare that motivated him to create a type of Holy Scripture free from having his sentiments embarrassed. The KJB has , practically, NOTHING from the Latin Vulgate. In fact, the corrupt Vulgate was the stoking reason the translations into English from the original sources were initiated in order to do away with this despicable piece of scribble and with the Papacy altogether. No Septuagint in it either.
Nextly, mate, where did you fancy about The King decreeing a special edict to outlaw the Geneva Bible? Please display the authoritative source backing your vindication.
I have no pleasure to burst your bubble, mate, but Wiki is NOT THE ONLY pebble on the seashore to put one's blind trust in, yet even IT states rather lucidly that The Geneva Bible was the primary and dominant Source The KJB had sprouted from. There are trustworthy pieces of reference on this wise to make a perspicacious point from.

@@EminentSeafarerGIO : dude, you are funny.
Anyway, King James is quoted as saying "I think that of all [English Bibles], that of Geneva is the worst." But yes, he took more issue with the notes than the translation.
As for KJ banning the Geneva Bible, that information is in the Wikipedia article, but if you don't like Wikipedia, here's another. (Scroll down to point 10) [but all the points are good, so read all of them]
      nickpage.co.uk/books/gods-dangerous-book/ten-things-you-need-to-know-about-the-king-james-bible/
More info or "proof" of this can be found by doing a simple Google search.
It's also important to note that the Puritans were not satisfied with King James' reforms. They wanted a total sever from anything "Catholic", James did not give that to them. He was more into preserving the high-church form of worship endorsed by QE-I.
The evidence is clear because even after the Geneva Bible was banned, printers continued to print them secretly and purposely misdate them, ex.1599, to not blow their cover. Puritans continued using their charished GB for a good 100 years after the KJV was authorized; it was the Geneva Bible which the Pilgrims brot to America.
