  • This was a nice little low end commercial mower that I knew nothing about, but it was part of a deal. Today, we get her running like it's supposed to.

That's an interesting design, one I haven't seen before. A Quantum carburetor using the choke from the plastic carbs? Good video Bill.

It's a Briggs Professional motor that is mostly used for commercial mowers. I don't see many either, 175cc, 7.75ft pounds of torque, annoying linkage, Lol
I have another sitting here, 190cc, 8.75ft pounds of torque, you can mow just about anything with it.

It turned out to be a blown transmission, new gears weren't going to save it. It's sad, but it became a gorgeous donor mower

@@GuysPlayingWithTools we know we can't fix em all but it will donate to make a few others run again so no loss for sure

@MunkyWrench It's a great frame and nice big motor, I sold it "as is" for parts to someone that has one like it. I hate to see them go that way, but I don't want to spend another $299 on it either.

Nice mower and fix but no drive is what canned all the ones I had running. That one was the srtwaw that did me in. Happy Weekend Mammy's Day and yall remain COOL!

I pulled the transmission out and got a look and went "aww", and sold it that way. It's too nice to scrap and too expensive to fix.

@@GuysPlayingWithTools I don't know what happened to that one because it was working but when it had quit, my diseases had caught up with me and that was IT. I was at the V.A. shortly thereafter. I'll always like the Snappers with the drive disc and belt clutch. Simple and TOUGH!

@@GuysPlayingWithTools YES I do but until I get another echocardiogram I'm on probation. I feel better but we'll see. That'll be next week I think. I've got 2 appointments one day and one next week. Glad Toots can keep it straight. I had 8 running mowers and now we've got 2 battery jobs and 2 gas jobs, 2 gas blowers and a gas pressure washer. She's got Kobalt trimmer, blower and a hedge trimmer and a Stihl battery saw with a 3 inch bar. I've got a DeWalt trimmer that's never cut a weed. Just waiting I guess. And a Workz corded saw with a 12 or 14 inch bar. That's it. I watch you and House so I can still grin and think about how it was here! See, yall are more important than you thought!
