A black raven instead of a bronze eagle and a medium blue field.
Yes, as a Ravenclaw it is very frustrating trying to try and but items with your house on it because a lot of companies use silver and blue and a black raven on the items so I often don't end up having a lot of Ravenclaw items
Are you saying that RAVENclaw doesnt have a raven as the symbol? Why an Eagle? Shouldnt it be Eagleclaw then. And when I think of a bird connected to wisdom, I think of an owl, not an eagle.
Ravenclaw will always have a raven as symbol, just as it had always had.
Overall this box seems very interesting and I really liked a lot of the items. I also liked the idea of having items that can be used as well as displayed, but as someone who is a Gryffindor I was a little disappointed with the items that represented that house. I’m not disappointed with the meaning behind the items, just that I wouldn’t really use them. Personally pins and pens are not my favorite items ever that have to do with Harry Potter, but nevertheless, I enjoyed how you created all of the items from the main traits of each house. Congratulations on the release and how well the items turned out!!
I agree. I’m a gryffindor too and I felt a bit underwhelmed with what we got.
Gryffindor here too and I agree. They were nice items and I do love the box but I wish the pen had been something else. I feel like we had the 2 smallest and underwhelming items.
Im also a gryffindor and i was kind of disappointed most with the sword pen. Its beautifully made and i love that its metal but i am just not a fan of things that are also pens or pencils it feels a little like im in elementary school/: i also dont use pins at all but the one he made was gorgeous
Peter, I was absolutely blown away by all the time and care that went into this box. Although I'm a Hufflepuff, I think I'm especially impressed by the coin box! It's just incredible. Congratulations on all of your hard work, you can be very proud of what you created!

Note: We don’t use Hall Passes in UK Schools, in terms of Hogwarts replicas and items I personally feel that keeping things British/UK/Scottish in style works best in terms of believability. I think that’s what partly makes the HP world feel so quaint, old-world, quirky and cosy.
depends on the school, my school introduced a hallway pass in like year 10 - although i went to a rougher school and a majority of kids would ask for the toilet and never come back lol

@@laytonthefirst depends when you went to school as British schools have now started adopting Americanisms but back in the early to mid 90's when they story was set they certainly did not have hall passes and you had a timetable not a schedule for your classes. like i said the story is set in the early to mid 1990s and the school it's self is run in a very Georgian/ Victorian style hell even medieval in some ways so hog warts would definitely not be using any Americanisms
this is very true but to be fair none of this is actually official Harry Potter merch notice how nothing actually has any trademarked Hogwarts or Harry Potter references on it even the crest on things is not Hogwarts or even Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry crest it is just a generic crest even the sword of Gryffindor pen the engraving and ruby placement is different to the actual sword of Gryffindor from the movies and the robe greeting cards don't have house names or house crests on them. so i don't think we need to worry too much that they used Americanisms for this box
I’ve never purchased any type of subscription box before. This was my first one. I’ve been watching your videos Peter since the beginning. The only reason why I bought this box was because it was put together by you and I figured it would have to be worth it. I have to be honest. I don’t know that it was for me or that I would buy it again given the chance. The potion was my favorite item by far, beautifully done! The class schedule was nice and printed on quality paper but honestly I didn’t really care for much else. I never really noticed before in all your videos that the items in these boxes aren’t licensed items. I know you worked hard on putting this box together and I’m sure a lot of people enjoyed it!! I love your videos and I will continue to be a Community Member for sure! You make great content that means a lot to us all!! Thank you for all your hard work in creating your channel!!!
I have to agree. I think a lesson to be learned here is curating a box is not an easy task. Peter is always positive in his reviews even when he isn’t exactly excited about an item. I am not trying to be negative. I did purchase this box expecting a wow factor and it just was not there for me. I watch a lot of unboxings and I have purchased. There was nothing in this box that was exceptional to other boxes. I know Peter has a fan base but I am just being honest.

Love the box kudos to the team for creating many beautiful items. One minor nitpick I have is that the gloves look “”cheap””, it could maybe benefit with a stain wash to give it a more aged and textured look. It would also help the dragon scales stand out (:

As an Eagle, thank you for the lack of ravens, and for using our correct colors. So much thought and care went into every item.

Agreed! I was so sure the final product to tie all the houses together was going to be a T-Shirt! Regardless, I am so excited for the arrival of my box. Maybe in the NEXT Keep Collecting box we can get a T-Shirt with the artwork from the print the winners who guessed the mystery item on it!

The baoding ball bludgers are very unique and I’m excited to put them on my quidditch shelf. The Gryffindor pen is mightier than the sword ❤️ The Wit Sharpening/Strengthening Potion - gorgeous! The Chamber of Secrets Bank - unique and shelf-worthy!

After reading some of the comments, I can see why it is so difficult to curate subscription boxes. Thank you for your hard work and passion for excellence. My least favorite item are the gloves, mostly because of the quality. On the pair I received the stitching was off, so there were loose flaps on the finger parts, I like the idea though. I’m so glad you didn’t put the over done items in boxes like keychains, patches, mugs, and personal care items. My favorite items were the slytherin pieces...especially the bank. In your next box 😉, I’d love to see more replicas. Because you’ve received so many boxes, you have a good eye for what would be unique. Love what you are doing, you are such an asset to the community...even if you are a Slytherin.

So I didn't watch the video before opening my box because I didn't want spoilers. I received my box today and I have to say, I'm a bit disappointed with it. Don't get me wrong- the quality is there, all the items are well made and some of them are definitely going to be displayed on my shelves! But two pins in one box? I know Peter loves pins, but not everyone does. I would have liked it if the headmaster pin was a print we could hang on our walls because it's definitely something I would hang out on mine along with my other HP art. And as a Ravenclaw, I feel like there was a missed opportunity to do something awesome with our creativity trait. Hufflepuff got gloves for their hardworking trait, a trait we don't see represented often, so this box could have been the perfect opportunity to do something with a Ravenclaw trait we rarely see represented. It also just feels like this box is missing something and I can't quite figure out what it is.
But with my personal opinion aside, I think the quality of this box is outstanding. I love that half the items are items we can use and the other half are displayable, giving the box a good balance of functional items and purely for enjoyment items. Congratulations on your box, Peter! I look forward to seeing your next one (if you choose to do another one)!

RAVENCLAWS!! WE FINALLY HAVE AN EAGLE REPRESENTATIVE COMPANY YUUSSS
not a Slytherin or a fan of coin banks but the one in this box is phenomenal!!!! it is my favorite item from this box of amazing items. I was going to say the one thing missing from the box is a print and then it turns out the print was the prize item!!! I do wish there was a print for everyone who bought the box though as the prints are so of my favorite things from The Wizarding Trunk.
I ALSO wish the print was an item in the box. When I saw it, I was like holy cow. BUT, it might come back in some shape or form in the future... NO MORE QUESTIONS THOUGH! ;)
The Ravenclaw's righful Eagle! Yes! 😍
But disclaimer, I am a Ravenclaw that already got exhausted with the argument of the Eagle/Raven, ages ago. To which I say now, Cool. We now have 2 house animals.
However, not gonna lie though, I wholly enjoy the Blue/Bronze colour. I understand the Blue/Silver is a more sleek and pleasing combination but there is just something magical on the former.
That said, those are my two cents on that matter. And I am the Ravenclaw that is alright in getting either ones. As long as the items are tastefully designed and fits with my personal preference. Then why not 💙🧡

Just opened my box today and was absolutely blown away by ALL the items. My favourite by FAR is the School Time Table, Hall Pass & Library Card. The gold foiling is gorgeous and overall just extremely Harry Pottery.
As are all the designed boxes and would not be out of place in Diagon (or perhaps even Knockturn Alley)

My other favourites would have to be the Coin Bank, Award for Special Services to the School & the Dragon-Hide gloves (perfect for gardening!)
Sadly I didn't realise the pen had a cap and snapped off the end by twisting it :( but as a Gryffindor I'm glad at least to have the Chivalry pin I think it would look great on a wool scarf!

I prefer it when people use eagles for Ravenclaw because I’m in the house. It is more accurate to the book and I like how you added an eagle instead. Good job on the box potter collector. My favorite item was either the Dagon hide gloves or metal quidditch bludgers. As you say, you and the company put time in making the box and items quality

WOW WOW WOW! My box finally arrived in Australia and landed on my doorstep this morning! How I avoided spoilers for this long is a miracle. As I discovered each item I was smiling from ear to ear and showing them to my family, gushing over how amazing each one was. The headmaster pin and the sword pen are my favourites. Isn't a Hallpass a american thing? I don't think hogwarts would use this but other than this I really liked the items from ravenclaw.. The sword handle would have been improved by dying it gold tho!

I appreciate the time and thought that went into this box and everything is great and I will enjoy them. As a Ravenclaw I really love the potion but I am not as blown away by this box as I was hoping to be. In fact I was very underwhelmed with this box. I'm sure most people will love the box but I would have liked something usable for us Ravenclaw. If I had known what was in the box ahead of time I honestly wouldn't have purchased it.
I thought I was the only one 😭 I was so excited for this box & it cost so much to get it to the UK and honestly I'm not in love with anything 😣 I appreciate the ideas behind everything but there's nothing I'd display bar the potion 🥲 I wouldn't purchase any of the individual items either... I really hope I don't get charged customs fees on it as that will be an extra kick in the teeth!

Hi Peter! Thank you for all the hard work that went into this box (Hufflepuff speaking here). I loved that all the items were so well made, and there was alot of attention given to details, which is always fantastic! However, as a long time follower of your channel, it just felt like the box fell shy of meeting it's full potential; I felt like the idea behind the items were terrific but some of the items did not represent the houses well, which was disappointing. There were 2 badges which i felt was too general in representing the houses, the school papers that are not specific to Ravenclaw, the Dragon Hide gloves which looks really kiddish and the Baoding balls which don't even come from the wizarding world. Most of the items are also not very usable for most of the age group that will be getting this box, such as the coin bank, letter templates, very cartoonish toy like gloves.
Again, i think the items were well made for what they are, I just didn't think they were the best representative of the theme, and the Hufflepuff items were especially disappointing. That said, its still a fun box, and my favourite items were probably the Gryffindor sword pen and school papers!

High five on a job will done for theme box design of the four houses. My favorite three items are in order your pin as the headmaster, the envelope with school schedule/hall pass/library card(loved), and stationery house robes. My least favorite items in the box were the gloves and the snake bank ( I’m not a snake fan).
P.s. Unfortunately the potion bottle for wit was not sealed properly and licked, also was not simmering as yours in the video.
I love love this box. At one pont I started clapping and didn't stop until the end. Can't wait to see this items in real. Reese, my owl is still in the US, has to cross an Ocean and fly thrue some mountains, but as a Hufflepuff I'll be patient. I'm so exited!

I opened my box today! My top four are the bank, the greeting cards, the pen, and the potion. I unfortunately wasn't lucky enough to get any signed items or the amazing art item (I guessed the right item and posted it on Instagram, but wasn't one of the lucky ones to get picked.). Congratulations, Peter. You can see that a lot of thought went into these items.

Unfortunately this box wasn't for me and left me very disappointed but I appreciate the ideas and concepts behind everything, they are just not items that I see meshing well with my personal collection at all 😣 and it looks like im in the minority- you can't please everyone! Maybe my opinion will change when I recieve the items in person (hopefully). Congratulations nonetheless Peter, I have been a watcher for a while & curating a box is a massive achievement.
I agree, for something that's been years in the making, it just doesn't feel especially inspired or very good quality. For a box named 'Keep Collecting', I think some of us did expect something better. Regardless, it is an impressive box compared to most subscription boxes so that's a big achievement.
@@omarmalik4939 yes. I did think that the items would be more collectible/replicas. For example the gloves... I could only see this working if you had a herbology shelf which I don't. I think the money bank is a bit childlike as is the sword of gryffindor pen. The items themselves are nothing I would really use or want day to day 😔 I do like the potion however I have so many potions and it's definitely not the nicest one. I think coming after the wizarding trunks order and the army box which was incredible and had stunning items like the ROR key, it made me even sadder seeing this box. 💔

I just got mine, overall The items werent really what I was hoping for personally but a few will go on display. I do see the time and effort put into everything tho so really great job on that! My bank and potion came completely broken from travelling to Canada which were my 2 fav items in the box. A nice Tshirt would have been insane! even tho The items arent my thing and i felt dissapointed cause I was soooo hyped, i do see all that has been put into and appreciate it alot:) if you do another at some point I will buy another too:)

Received my box today & was very excited to open it and then watch this video. That headmaster pin is outstanding--absolutely perfect. I LOVED the potion, which is beautiful (and hurray for the right colors AND mascot), and the school documents - probably because I am a proud "eagle" :) I admit I would have liked a creative design on the box for the potion, too, especially knowing how much you love good packaging...but of course a true "eagle" would actually have made the potion his/herself and not bought it from a vendor. I also liked the badges, the stationery (very clever and again hurray for correct house colors), and the pen is nice & solid and looks beautiful. Glad you went with the metal. Is it refillable? And the dragon gloves would be great for gardening/herbology (I see what you did there).
I would have liked the bank a bit more if the front opened (more fun for displaying coins/treasures inside...though I guess that defeats the purpose of it as a bank) and I think the connection between the bludger/baoding balls and Hufflepuff is a bit of a stretch, but those are still awesome looking items. I can't wait to see your next box :)

I can't watch yet until my box arrives, which probably won't be for a long while since I'm overseas. But fingers crossed for a magical surprise on that front! Nonetheless, thank you for this box. It's something I'm looking forward to and hope it will bring a lot of cheer after a very difficult time.

Who do we contact if we have issues with items in the box? The box was great! But the potion is leaking and the box the bank came in, is destroyed.
Oh no!!! The Wizarding Trunk will be able to help. For the potion, a lot of them are having condensation and not actually leaking. I’m curious I got an email saying it would be shipped out on the 3rd but when I checked the tracking number the label has been created but it’s not been shipped out yet. Has anyone else’s done this?
Everything has been delivered to the USPS and UPS. Here's hoping the tracking is updated soon but all boxes have shipped. :D
My box arrived today, so I left work early to open it and then watch this video!!!! Great box, Peter!!! My favorite items (plural) are the greeting cards, award plaque, and potion!! Love all the paper replicas and the secret chamber bank too!

My initial and last thoughts:
The pen is cool. The crest pin is amazing looking but Im going to have to be honest I was expecting something like the Slytherin piggy bank or gloves for one of the items foe Gryffindor. BUT there has been a lot of Gryffindor stuff around so Im really glad the other houses got bigger items. The Gryffindor pin, I wasnt so thrilled but I guess since Im not a big pin fan it didnt really draw my attention much at first but it did after I went back to look at it. Bravo Peter and TWT! All of it is very well thought out.
As someone with huge hands, thanks you for putting in gloves that fit me! They're perfect. The entire box is amazing!

Oh Peter! One of the first items i picked out was the headmaster pin. I thought it was cool having a Dumbledore pin until i realized it was YOU! I laughed hysterically! Loved opening this box!! As a Ravenclaw, the potion was incredible! The coin bank was definitely a favorite too! You can tell a lot of thought went into the items! Love that all houses were included and the cards? Chef’s kiss! The Headmasters pin was hilarious. Favorite box that I have received!
Excellent box from start to finish. Loved the graphic design of every piece. And the headmaster pin was a pleasant surprise, my Aunt who was there for the box opening legit thought it was Richard Harris until i told her you Cosplay as Dumbledore. This is first box I've opened that I loved everything in it. Least favorite was the gloves. Favorite piece even though I'm a Ravenclaw, was the pen and the bank. My favourite item out of this box is definitely the money bank 🐍. I love the use of quality materials like the metal sword pen 🖊 . Why are the gloves 2 sizes too big? What was the idea behind that?
I always imagined dragon-hide gloves to be oversized, one size fits all, not fitted, something that you would grow into and will protect your hands from anything... plus, they have to fit the hands of a half-giant too. :D
The hall pass is so American. Never in my entire live have seen a hall pass. I don't even understand why you would need it. Trust is a thing.

But after I saw u giving away duplicate wands , I really want them. I really wish I get some wands. I will be honest when I opened my box I was a like meh about some of the items. Just personal taste don’t throw any rocks please. But after watching your video I see how much thought you put in everything and get an other perspective. I think it’s really hard coming up with the ideas. Most favorite items are the Ravenclaw’s ones (I am a 🦡 by the way), least favorite ones are actually the badger ones. Not because they are not well made they are but just personal preferences. Will probably display them all anyway.
Rewatching this because your releasing a third box. I forgot how much I loved the gloves, schedule and the award. Everything was good, of course, but for me, those three things are outstanding items.
My favourite item in this box was the 🗡️ pen but the most interesting item will say is dragon hide gloves. This really let me remind alot of the story in the book. And what else is better than to represent "hardworking".😊 (Just the size is too big)

The potion is STUNNING. The blue color was mixed to perfection. In my mind, it had to be a rich blue.

My boyfrined and I loved the box so much! We have already displayed most of the items. I adore the baoding balls but I think my hands are too small to use the properly, just going to have to practice more.

on little mistake Hogwarts being a British school and the story being set in the early to mid 90's they would most likely used the phrase timetable for classes rather than schedule but it is a minor minor thing I'm just being pedantic
