Hey buddy , Wow thank you , you think ? . Fingers crossed im able to finally master air control still a long way to go . Thanks for watching the video buddy . Stay safe Chris :)
Typhon is a great all around buggy. I run mine on 4s with an 18 tooth pinion. It gives it enough wheel speed to backflip it off of some jumps. Practice makes perfect(Well almost) when it comes to jumping. The more time you spend in the air the better you get at controlling the rc.👍🤙
Hey buddy , Yeah the typhon as you say is a great all round Rc for sure , Great at most things . What Motor and ESC do you have in yours ?. Thanks for watching and if you haven't yet please consider subscribing buddy . Chris :)
Flying straight is good for me at the moment buddy, I can wait for backflos etc lol 🤣 that means more broken parts need to fix the broken parts I already have first lol . Thanks for the nice comment also about the video means alot . Hope your well , Stay safe Chris 🤙😎🚀🤘
Thanks 👍I mean got a load of practice before I'm good at it though , but determined to get were I'm comfortable sending it off any jump and being able to control my landings ! . Thanks for watching again buddy really means alot . Hope that your well Chris 😎🚀🤘🤙
Hey there buddy , Yeah i love it also , i was thinking about letting it go but i think ive found the point in the collection of what im going to use it for now , perfect for practicing jumps. As for the ramp its the Nitrocircus ramps you can pick them up online or most toy stores , there kicker ramps for kids scooters and skateboards. Hope that your well Chris :)
Yeah, man, jumping is a lot of fun! I mostly drive my cars on the ground, but on occassions it's great to get some airtime! I think the laws of physics mostly cooperate but also sometimes they really mess with your plans, ha ha! The plastic Typhon looks great, good job with it, mate!
I'm exactly the same as you know buddy , not normally one for airtime . But as you said if the laws of physics are on your side it's very rewarding landing a long jump for sure . Fingers crossed now I'm able to get it fixed and back out soon . Thanks for watching buddy Stay safe there Chris 😎🚀🤘🤙
Thank you buddy , I've got along way to go yet , but as they say practice makes perfect hey . Think I'm found a great place to run them when jumping mind . Hope you and the family are well bud , stay safe Chris 😎🤙🚀🤘
Hey great skills mate. The Typhon is the ideal jump vehicle because it flies like an arrow. Shame about the malfunction but it is fairly typical when doing jumps. I've got a similar ramp but don't use it too much because of such breakages but it is fun 😁
Hey there Pete , Thanks very much indeed still need alot of practice mind ! , As for the malfunction a good mate of mine Tim is sending down a 4s plate to fit to the typhon and a spur bless him , very nice gesture isnt it . Yes i agree with the Typhon because its a balanced buggy i thought it would help me master controlling the throttle a bit more . The ramps are more predictable for now will im still getting used to it i think . Hope your well mate and you enjoyed your holiday . Stay safe , Chris :)
Typhon is really well balanced and jumps really well, just knowing how to control it in the air,my aim going over ramps is terrible, completely miss it most of the time 😂😂
Hey man , Yes i agree the typhon is spot on for air control , i thought it would make a perfect sacrificial lamb as per say lol ! , Im the same buddy hence then putting them together to make sure i could hit them lol . Was great fun jumping it , just need some parts now lol ! Stay safe there buddy Chris :)
Hey buddy , Thanks for watching , Yes i agree i have one on the BIG Rock 4s build i have and its held up amazingly , Time to upgrade the typhon to one i think . The CRCU mount i have in the big rock has put up with some terrible crashes and all works perfect . Thanks for watching Stay Safe Chris :)
Hey buddy , Yes i agree with you about the steel spur i have one in the big rock and its still running perfectly. i also need a CRCU motor mount also . Quite happy with how ive set up the motor and esc in this Buggy as its not as heavy as the Big rock so leave as is for now , im running a 120amp ESC and 2400kv 3668 motor in it also . Stay safe there buddy Chris :)
Hi ya mate Great video as always lovely surroundings and beautiful views. I've got one thing to say stop reading my mind as I was thinking put the ramps together as you decided to do it. You've watched my videos and you know I've got alot to learn about jumping over the bmx track. Hope yourself and the family are having a brill weekend. Peter
Hi there Peter , Thank you so much , Yes both the ramps together give me a better surface area to jump from dont they , i think next time ill take some gaffer tape for the middle also. As for the BMX track you have , get over there and keep sending them over the ramps. Breakages happen in any aspect of bashing so just take your time and build up speed . Hope your all well , Chris :)
Hey there mate , Yeah a truggy is perfect for jumping you will have the clearance of a truck and a neutral air position of a buggy . How you getting on dont mind me asking ? Thanks for watching . Stay safe buddy . Chris :)
haha, nice run, a little unlucky at the end there, you were just getting into the swing of it and balancing it out and planting some of those landings. Not as easy as it looks, but twice as much fun! Was just about to say how well it took the bumps, but like you say, not the end of the world. Handled it really well the Typhon. I hear you musing on an Outcast 4s in the future, I don't think you would regret it! Slipper clutch saved mine a fair bit, it was only landing on throttle that cost me some rear wheel hubs. Looking forward to the next one, Chris! 👍💥🤙
Hey there buddy , Ah yeah i ran out of luck in the end hey ! But really enjoyed it for sure Most defo its not as easy as people think , hence why its taken me this long to jump in to it . I am thinking about a outkast 100% , I love my Arrma trucks and it seems that arrma defo made sure that its a tough bugger . Hows the family mate on the other end of the pond . Hope you guys are well and safe , Chris :)
@@ChriswithaCrc "Jump into it" Pun intended I hope, lol. Yeah jumping is pretty harsh on them. Bound to happen eventually. But you will end up with an even tougher rig. I've heard the 6s notorious is pretty rad too. Same I love Arrma, I want a typhon and a vorteks too eventually. ALL THE TRUCKS. I even want a limitless at some point. So greedy, its like gran turismo this hobby. We're doing great, raph was crook this week but bouncing around again now. Thanks for askin. Hope you guys are all super, too. 🙏🤝🤙
"jump into it" lol. I am the same, they make great trucks, I've still want to eventually pick up a Vorteks, a Typhon TLR, and an Infinity, just to round out the collection. It's like Gran Turismo, this hobby. I like how you transformed your Vorteks into a Typhon. Thats the great thing how they are compatible like that, opens up the options for mods. My outcast outlasted my Kraton by about 4 weeks to 1! A bit unfair on the Kraton cos I really cut my teeth into the game with that one. That XLWB chassis leaves a bit to be desired though. I guess the good thing about crashing them is buliding them back stronger. Yes the fam is going great, Raphie was a bit crook this week but he is bouncing back like a Big Rock now hahaha. Thanks for asking! I hope you guys are all super as well!! 🤝👍🤙
Love my typhon 3s will never get rid👍
I know right , what was I thinking 🤔 , got plans to toughen it up some now and send her to the moon 😎
Send it.!! 👍 👍 👍 👍

The Typhon is great for flying straight in the air. Your Bogrock is going to be better for backflips, frontflips, etc. great vid!
Flying straight is good for me at the moment buddy, I can wait for backflos etc lol 🤣 that means more broken parts need to fix the broken parts I already have first lol .

Pays to go with the Steel spur in the 3s line, the Typhon also really wakes up on a 120a esc & 4s.
Hey buddy , Yes i agree with you about the steel spur i have one in the big rock and its still running perfectly. i also need a CRCU motor mount also .

Gonna start working on my cars this week hopefully can meet up once I’ve done them chris
Hey buddy, which cars you going to work on ?
Chris 😎🚀🤘🤙
I learned to jump with a truggy, jumped feet first into racing. Nitro X from the off, so I really needed to learn to and quickly 😂🤣
Hey there mate , Yeah a truggy is perfect for jumping you will have the clearance of a truck and a neutral air position of a buggy .
How you getting on dont mind me asking ?
