I think what happened is that while Yellow was in his inventory the endermen squad ran in front of him while chasing the dragon and so he "looked" at all of them

Yellow should turn off aggro for others so it doesn't aggro him unless he harms them. Go in settings to change it.

i think while in his inventory, he might have looked at the endermen which then caused his death. He could have placed water down and survived though.

At 31:47, Yello opens his inventory and ~unfortunately~ makes direct eye contact with the small army of endermen that were aggro'd on the dragon in the process. I had to watch it back a few times myself to understand what went down myself.
"Small army" more like the whole end of endermans at the same time
I feel like the swarm of endermen at the end was just karma for ruthlessly murdering the Axolotl‘s

Axolotls are actually pretty useful.
Axolotls attack many mobs, including Drowned and Guardians, and if you kill a hostile mob that is attacking an Axolotl, or kill a hostile mob that the Axolotl is trying to attack, you will receive the Regeneration effect, and will lose any Mining Fatigue effects you have.
They can also help you fish if you need some quick food.
And they're cute so axolotl best mob

What about a manhunt where the ores don’t drop the right type of ore? Coal drops emerald, iron drops coal, gold drops iron, diamond drops gold, lapis drops diamond, redstone drops lapis, and finally, emerald drops redstone. You could even add nether quartz to the mix. And the hunters won’t know, also the speedrunner might or might not know which ores drop what

I find it amusing when you guys get surprised at the enderman aggro. Even a fast sweep of the mouse across one can piss it off, and you guys happened to glance at quite a few this time and not just one or two. Probably a consequence of sweeping your mice around while gliding.

When Yellow opened his inventory at 31:50 he looked over at all the Ender men chasing the dragon. When he looked at them they locked on to him and killed him 🙄

Blaze rods drop op loot, hunters don't usually kill them unless forced to so I think it's a good idea
