Gripping the bike with your legs is the one really important habit u want to start doing from day one and because it may take time to build up your Leg strength,Ryan show em your and,hah hah,and your stomach muscles but little by little it took me a long time to do it but man it works so good it takes so much pressure off your hands and arms when u get ur timing down using ur legs to turn the bike,I was so mad I didn't do it or learn it early in my racing,I got serious about MX AN SX at age 40 little late thanks Ryno...piece out.
I REALLY want to hear from the Thumbs down people as to why the thumbs down, something in the video, something said, something done, just don't like the guy, what ?
Thanks! Have wathed a LOT of similar videos but non as eaasy to understand or well explained as this one. You make it sound simple and with good pointers on how to make this teqnices work in reality even for me who is quite a novice on how not only do this at race pace but gradually build up to the speed and get more comfortable on the bike. I´m definetly going to train and ride differently this comming season! :D Mabye a little faster but above all a lot safer i think! :D
This is one the most complete Ryan Hughes videos. His instagram is full of tips as he spends a lot of his time coaching all over the world. Awesome to listen to him.
You are going to have one It's in your heart. You know what you wanna do, but fears and life circumstances holding you back just like me and many others.
You Got to feel it, a lot of time when you are riding a dirt bike it all comes to how you feel on it, what he means with the "right" gear is a gear where you are not revving your bike too much but still got the power to get out of the corner, usually if you can still use 3 4rths of the throttle you shouldn't shift down. But that might be difficult for you to understand if you are a beginner so just try it in a high gear where you bike doesnt sound as loud and you can go wide open after it without stalling it, thats pretty much the same, idk if its gonna help you because its confusing, thats how i do it and get really fast around the corners

Excellent video but man the guy riding is pushing it to the edge. On a few occasions it looks like he almost came off because he was pushing so hard.

I think that's the point bro.......He's not teaching people how to suck....he's a giant and he's lending us his shoulders.

One foot up starts takes super balance...two feet down more forgiving
I wonder how much PSI hes running look at dirt starts. I run 10-12 PSI and they don't look like that. Im also 240 lbs. Maybe running the no tube???
Fast!
Number 1: get born into a moto loving family, number 2: have lots of money, number 3 work hard and get ready for disappointment and injury.
I thought powdered berms were just for magazine covers
Whats the "right gear"?
