I'm watching this from my Galaxy s10 plus and I picked it up around this time of year May 2019 and it's been 5 years and still holds up just fine I love this phone❤
S10 series was updated to android 12, some complaints you had were fixed with android 11 and 12 such as screen recording and the gesture to go back by swiping from the side wasn't introduced on android 9, it had a different set up of gesture navigation.
I dont understand how some people redo reviews and NOT update the phone and again talk about the now outdated OS like if their was never a choice to update. Its something ive seen other Tubers do.
I'm still in love with my S10+. Its design, power, weight, sturdiness, unique camera, sleek style, responsiveness, memory card slot, it's the perfect mix which hasn't been repeated yet. My latest / last security update is form 1st March 2023. If there was an 5G model, it would be sweet. That is the only thing I miss on the phone. But when paired with company iPhone 14' hot spot from 5G network, I'm back in the game smiling Easily best Samsung phone mix put together
On spring 2019 I owned S10e exynos, then S10 qualcomm, then S10 plus exynos 1tb 12gb, now S10 plus qualcomm 1tb 12gb (a bargain on Aliexpress). Best phone family EVER. Cameras are still good nowadays! I will use it till the end!!
Still using my S10 5g. I'm an average user who likes watching videos and browsing and don't really play games. No lags, battery life is good, screen is amazing, camera is decent, and rocks the headphone jack. My phone has no scratches and smooth, still feels like brand new
I bought mine in Dec 2019. Got a Pixel 8a yesterday and I'm giving it back. I'll stick with the S10+ for some time more and wait to see what the S25 line will bring next year. 😄
Oh good I'm glad I saw your comment cus I was debating on getting a pixel 7pro or pixel 8...but my two issues I don't like or want to sacrifice is the memory card slot and the headphone jack...I don't like bluetooth and prefer plugging in and I'd have to use an adapter w the pixel...and why in the world would any phone company not make a memory card slot that crazy stupid.
I still use my S10+ as a secondary phone, and it functions admirably despite using the original battery. I am slightly perplexed by the referenced video concerning the software on Android 9, as my device operates on Android 12 with One UI 4.1. It is possible that this discrepancy arises from carrier restrictions or regional variations specific to the individual's phone 9:54
Still have my s10+ from new. Hard to warrant paying £50 a month for the latest samsung phone when the s10 plus serves me perfectly on a £10 a month sim only deal
I still have and enjoy my s10+sd855 version! Still a great phone with not a problem what so ever! Can't find a real upgrade, like 3.5 jack, SD card and a superb display! All apps working great, Going strong. No need to change it yet.
9:50 - 11:30 why don't you update the software? There's a lot of improvement in One UI 4.1. Such as screen video recording, better navigation (left and right nav), etc
Who is still running android 9? and complaining about apps compability and heating issue?.This phone receives lot of love from custom rom community install and see how good it is!
I have the s105g this is actually my second one. It performs well against other phones that are newer. Speed, battery life, camera. Last update is android 12 so it's not too out of date and is still a powerhouse. I do like that it still has the phone jack and being it was ahead of its time during release it will probably be able to keep up with the competition fot at least the next few years
I've been using the Samsung Fold 3 since it came out in 2021..and the s10 seems very similar except for the folding of course..amoled screen,4k cameras etc. Absolutely, this is still a very high quality phone and still very useful for a fraction of its new price..Qualcomm chips snapdragon processor, pro feature camera. 24000th shutterspeed..IP68 water resistant and windproof..it was the Ferrari of its day and still performs better than most mid level phones..also apps can help make it even better today. Also I'm a fan of the headphone jack, and this is the last flagship premium phone to have one.
Nice review! I just bought this phone as a replacement and now I'm a bit worried about the overheating issue you mentioned. I know you said it "gets warm" so it might not be too serious, but overheating can be a deal breaker for me... Had I known about this I might have gone for another phone, but hey, hopefully the one I receive won't have this issue. I wonder if companies do this through software updates to push people to upgrade their phones. I'm also not happy that the phone I got comes with Android 9, I hope I can upgrade to 12 at least, fingers crossed. Not gonna lie, the audio jack was one of the reasons I got this XD It was this phone or the Motorola Moto G84.
I'm still using the galaxy S10+, it should be android 12 as the final update, what's wrong with urs, is it bcs u have the 512GB version (since you mentioned ceramic back, only for the 512 version) it address some of the complaints you had😅

@@AdamLoboTV it has held up surprisingly well for my daily use. still plenty fast and snappy for general social media use and light gaming. cameras are surprisingly good. Hi Adam, I am also using this device for almost 5 years the only thing is that its battery drains very fast like after a full chanrge within 1hr it falls to 30%. Could you pls suggest how to improve battery health and avoid fast draining?

Adam lobo, Last you software experience is bad but my Samsung Galaxy S10e receive his last android and One UI update is android 12 on One UI 4.1. His still usable on 2024
I bought my GS10+ in the summer of 2019 and I have ZERO intention to buy a GS24. If a side-by-side comparison is conducted purely on hardware, the S10 beats it hands down with the exception of a slightly slower processor. Come On Samsung. FIVE years later and the best product you offer is less than the S10! Artificial Intelligence all the rage now, and Samsung made the 2024 series all about that instead of improving the platform of a 5 year old phone. @@AdamLoboTV its not stable? mine got no random restart,no 4g,bt, and no wifi issues. everything works fast i need to replace battery maybe in the next 2yrs tho. it went down from good battery to normal
your software experience is your own fault. You can update this phone to android 12, which would improve the overall experience, I found gaming and battery improved. Of cource you will have a bad experience. Also the gesture fault is because back swipe gestures were added in android 10...
Nothing was wrong with the Verizon Phone, it's just that the Samsung Galaxy S10 gave me a comfortable tingly neuron feedback feeling upon touch of the back.

Ngl it still look kind of relevant for a 5-year-old phone 👍
Good point but funny enough, some people gave me certain look, like “eh? What phone is that ?” 😂
@AdamLoboTV that makes the S10+ unique because modern Galaxy phones and iphones all look the same lol
my s10 5G screen died.. it was a good phone, rather then repairing it, decided to upgrade to the s24 ultra. if the s10 5G didnt broke would definitely still be using it. but need software update badly too..
Witch is a good old phone to use in 2024
Can you pls do a video on the one plus 7 pro in 2024 🙏
Thanks for the suggestion!
The phone is still solid in 2024
Planning to buy this on 2031✨🤤
i think S24u will be 25000rs on 2031!
I just picked up the S10 5G (or Ultra as we call it) for a 100 bucks, mint condition. Awesome phone in every way
Install custom rom one ui 6 and still rocks and better than most phones today...
On the s10?
It received oneui 4 and to android 12
s10 and note 10 line are capable of running til 2030. they got android 12 which is the most stable android version for a samsung.
Yeap, mine doesn’t 🙂
@@AdamLoboTV its not stable? mine got no random restart,no 4g,bt, and no wifi issues. everything works fast i need to replace battery maybe in the next 2yrs tho. it went down from good battery to normal
@@Rr-j4x glad to hear that buddy
your software experience is your own fault. You can update this phone to android 12, which would improve the overall experience, I found gaming and battery improved. Of cource you will have a bad experience. Also the gesture fault is because back swipe gestures were added in android 10...
Does Samsung phones have better battery than iPhone which degrades slower? Somehow i mostly hearing that IPhones battery degrade after 2 or 3 years
Nothing was wrong with the Verizon Phone, it's just that the Samsung Galaxy S10 gave me a comfortable tingly neuron feedback feeling upon touch of the back.
My s10+ got android 12 though
Ex flagship content mantap
Terima kasih brother
