On OpenMW there is a series of riding mounts mods, one covers the Cyrodiil horses and donkeys! Can be found on Nexus "devilish-horse riding" or sometging like that!
@professorboondoggle detaildevil, the mod author works on it it seems, but in the nexus comment tab he gives the id cheat to port a rideable horse to Cyrod
If you were playing this on the original Morrowind with mwse the aurorans would have a unique spell shield instead of the lightning shield they have here. In fact that clannfear scroll you got also summons Welkynd spirits instead on mwse.
@@professorboondoggle sadly that's exactly the case for now, and it looks like it will take some time for OpenMW to catch up on that front and implement custom spells like mwse/lua. Current mwse Abecean Shores has even custom weather like taifun storms hitting Anvil and Charach. Fingers crossed openmw will implement those features soon too 🤞
Crydiil is supposed to be a mix of jungle and savannah and marshlands at this time. I guess Vietnam would be the best analogy or maybe something like an Oasis in Persia. Somewhere less Medieval Europe in feel, and more like Bronze age temperate/rainforest for the most part. At least across most of the province. Frankly Elswyr in the current lore is closer to how Cryrodiil looked in the old lore..
Yeah this would technically be a year before Oblivion started, so Anderin is probably still out raiding caravans or already in jail. It’s weird to consider cause of the Gold Coast obviously being a very different version of itself in Oblivion
The small towns in the later games are a little dull...Riverwood at least is iconic, but a lot of the little towns in Oblivion don't even have roads leading to them which is super weird. I can forgive some of that, the bigger games have a lot more moving parts, so massive towns with more modern npcs would be a challenge to even load in correctly. But I hope that they take a chance in ES6. Brina Cross would almost be its own major city by Oblivion standards.
Yeah they got rid of radiant ai in Skyrim, and got rid of schedules completely in Starfield… I really hope we get bigger cities than Skyrim with NPCs who do more than just smile and sell me stuff
@@professorboondoggle The main issue with Beth is that they're constantly fighting for balance between optimization and extra features that are inevitably buggy. Every game it's a little different. Oblivion was groundbreaking but made for legendary jank. Skyrim I'm not so bothered by, at least npcs were all distinct named people. Starfield is technically more stable but that stability comes at the cost of static npcs and it just procedurally generates 500 robots to populate a city. I'm part of the "optimistic" camp that says that Starfield was experimental and now that it hasn't gone over well they will return to what they're better at, small hand-crafted worlds where all the npcs have names and backstories. I'm willing to wait a while for ES6 if it means more a more flavorful world and extra polish.
Just Background Noise did a video on this.
There is a quest in that Ayleid ruin. There is a button in that room.
Whoops lol I’ve been avoiding other people’s videos to not spoil myself
That donkey is adorable

🤯woah woah woah WHAT!! That's amazing! Does it cover Cyrodiil's stuff though? Cause at least the one I found said Skyrim Home of the Nords horses

The Redeemed in Ayleid ruins are actually expanding upon something in an ESO book (which doesn't appear ingame ofc). They were men once...
Then Sauron the Deceiver gave to them nine Rings of Power…. Happen to know the book?

Huh I wonder why they made those changes. I would think being able to change a summon or change a spell wouldn’t be something OpenMW couldn’t handle

That mixed in with the Roman/Mediterranean architecture and it’s now one of my favorite settings
I suppose this is just what Valdryn was doing before he meets his son, or is it while his son is off doing all the extra quests?

I've seen a guar riding mod on yt.
Oh dang hahaha that’s amazing I just found it! Maybe we will get rideable horses in the future

Can I make a request, will you purchase the redguard robes and wear them in the next video? The redguard in me is curious.
Already recorded the next episode, but yes I will next time!
@@professorboondoggle thanks.
