- This recipe is amazingly delicious, and easy to make. If you enjoy eating fish like I do, you will love this recipe. This baked fish dish, is moist, fun, and easy to make. This dish yields a flavorful steamed texture. You can totally customize the content of your fish, as well as the taste by adjusting your seasoning and herb choices. Another versatile dish that can be complemented with most sides.
Note: Depending on the size of your fish, and your desired texture, place back into oven for an additional 20 minutes. After that, turn on broiler for 5-10 minutes and remove from oven.

GOOD LUCK ALICIA! Please let me know how it turns out.
@@atasteofsintmaarten5501 HEY! so I made it and it turned out amazing!!! I am actually trying it again with a few tweaks to the items I used previously. I used salted instead of unsalted butter so my veggie mix was a little too salty so I'm using unsalted this go round. The fish is also a tad bigger so i'm trying to guesstimate the right amount of everything too lol
@@alicianoel6377 Hi! You can just add some salt and omit the butter if you prefer. The seasoning from the fish and veggies, should be sufficient and still flavorful. Also, based on thickness of your fish, if you are using the same seasoning, you can double it and add a 1/4 tsp salt or 1 tsp soy sauce or 1 tsp bouillon. I hope this helps. Happy to hear you're trying the recipe! Thank you for the support!

It was Sint Maarten where I fell in love with whole Red Snapper! OMG!!! I can't wait to try this for dinner tomorrow! As an American, it isn't our culture to eat fish with the head on but as a traveler I am always open to try local foods the way they are prepared in the country I am visiting. I've been eating it like this ever since I visited in 2017!
Thank you for your comment. In my opinion, the sweetest part of the fish, is its head. Initially, my husband wasn't a fan of eating fish with its head on either. But now he loves it. Please let me know how it turned out for you.

I pulled the fish out after 20 minutes and it almost bit me! Definitely needs at least 45 minutes.
Thank you for your comment. Depending on the size of your fish, and your desired texture, you would probably have to bake your fish longer. On my website indicated bake time variation for you.
That fish does not look happy at all.
Thank you for your comment. Well, it may not have looked happy, but it sure was tasty...😃
