  • Barking and Dagenham residents, did you know there is a Tudor building on your doorstep? Eastbury Manor House is nestled just behind Ripple Road and has over 450 years of history waiting to be discovered.
Here in ‘Eastbury Saved: 446 years in 4.46 minutes’ we tell you Eastbury’s fascinating story. This short film is usually played in the historic Summer Parlour for visitors to enjoy. We‘ve decided to bring this animation to you virtually whilst we unfortunately remain closed! Please check our website for our latest updates on reopening and future events: www.eastburymanorhouse.org.uk
This film was produced by Bo Chapman and Zoe Flynn from Salmagundi Films in partnership with the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings as part of the ‘We Love Eastbury: 100 Years of Protection and Preservation’. This project was made possible with generous funding from the Friends of Eastbury Manor House, Barnet National Trust Association, London Borough of Barking and Dagenham and the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
