The Sikh population was just 1 % of the Indian population. Even in pre-partition Punjab, the Sikh population was about 10%. It is amazing that such a small population was able to take on the Mughals, Afghans, and British.

2 Charat Singh was not died while fighting with Abdali. He died while fighting with Kanahiya misl supported by Ranjit Dev.

I respect your channel but please do some proper research before making videos on sikh history. There are many mistakes in the video.
1. He was not jassa singh kulail but jassa singh ahluwalia who was termed ' sultan -ul- qaum'.
2. Charat singh was not fighting ahmed shah abdali but the leader of the bhangi misal of sikhs when his gun exploded and he died.
3.Before becoming disciple of guru gobind singh ji, banda singh bahadar name was madho daas because he was a hindu. His childhood name was lachman dev. He mistakenly killed a dear with his arrow in his childhood. The incident made him very sad and he became an ascetic and left archery. There he kept his name madho das. He changed many gurus but did not find peace and true way. He used to cast magic spells by reciting mantras on his people.
4.When guru gobind singh ji along with his beloved followers visited his place and sat on his throne, madho das used his spiritual powers to teach the guru a lesson but his own powers backfired him. Learning that guru was not an ordinary person, he surrendered himself to the guru. The guru said, you are sad just on the incident of the killing of a dear but on the other side mughals are everyday committing attrocities on innocent people. How would you punish them? By reciting magic spells or by using the power of sword ? Madho das got the lesson of his life. He said to guru that from today i am your man ( mai tera banda) . Madho das took amrit and became sikh and guru sahib named him banda singh bahadar. He was both a saint and a soldier.
5. Guru sahib blessed Baba banda singh bahadar and sent sikhs with him to become support of the oppressed. Banda singh bahadar and sikhs went to Punjab and led revolts against the mughals. He with the handful army of sikhs defeated them and gave the oppressed people back their lands which were forcely acquired by mughals. He gave punishment to wazir khan and his courtier suchanand who issued fatwa to martyr the two younger 7 and 9 years old sahibzaadas. He also punished the mughal general who martyred the muslim sufi saint syed badruddin ( peer budhu shah) . Peer ji fought along with guru gobind singh ji and sikhs against hill kings who were allies of mughals .
6. Guru gobind singh ji told baba banda singh bahadar not to fight with the intention of revenge but to cause a change in the nature of the mughals. Martyrdom is the tradition of sikhi and one day you will also have to accept it happily for good cause, guru sahib taught this to banda singh bahadar.
5 . It's wrong to say that baba banda singh bahadar didn't live up to the expectations of the guru. He won every battle and captured and won every area he participated in until his martyrdom.He along with the sikh army was the main reason the mughals empire was started to decline in the northern region and become weak as the mughal generals mentioned in their literary works. On the other hand aurangzeb died due to the 'zafarnama ' , the persian letter of victory written by guru gobind singh ji to aurangzeb, which even iranians admired probably the greatest literary work ever in persian and is still taught in iranian university.
6. At last In 1716 , the handful of sikhs and banda singh bahadar were inside the gurdas nangal fort when a huge mughal army under abdul samad attacked the fort and seiged it. The mughals tried to break the fort but sikhs gave tough fight and defended the fort. The mughals decided to cut the ration and supplies inside the fort. By this way, the sikhs will surrender. Inside the fort, the difference of opinion arose between baba banda singh bahadar and baba binod singh. Baba binod singh suggested that despite we are in small numbers, still we should come out and make way by cutting the forces of the mughals as they did in battle of lohgarh and got succeed. But baba banda singh bahadar said that they will give martyrdom. Here two groups emerge. ' Bandai khalsa ' and tat khalsa. Baba binod singh and some sikhs came out and cut straight the forces of mughals and made their way to goindwal sahib town . On the other side, bandai khalsa stayed inside the fort and they cut the skin of their own legs and plant leaves and relied on it as their food . The siege continued and sikhs struggled for eight months. At last, the qazi took false oaths of quran and the mughals arrested all the sikhs and banda singh bahadar inside the fort and carried them to delhi. The sikhs were martyred one by one. At last the turn of baba banda singh bahadar came . His 5 years old son was martyred before. Baba banda singh bahadar was asked either to accept islam Or to accept death. Baba banda singh bahadar accepted martyrdom and said that his guru said to him to continue the tradition of martrdom as those who die for good cause will be highly honoured in the court of waheguru ( formless Lord) . Baba banda singh bahadar was reciting prayers and thanking waheguru and his guru to put the valuable tradition of martyrdom in his lap. He was patiently giving martyrdom. When abdul samad asked baba banda singh bahadar that what type of death he wanted. Baba banda singh bahadar replied the same type of death you want. His words became true after the martyrdom. Sayyed brothers killed abdul samad in the same way .
