Home Alone is so popular in Poland that when the TV station that usually airs the movie decided not to show it one Christmas people were so upset that the station decided to add it back.
Honestly, the home alone films are some of my all time favorite films when it comes to Christmas and humor. I admire the work and effort that was put into these films. Thanks Trevor ✌️
10:48 I had this movie on DVD as a kid, and I always watched the movies on the DVDs with the subtitles on (just because of the novelty), so I got what she meant pretty much out the gate (as I already learned the word "incompetent" from _The Incredibles)._
I love the first two Home Alone movies I knew there was a third and forth film but I didn’t even know Home Alone 5 was even a thing until I saw it one day on one of those $5 dvd rack at random grocery store and at the time I first saw it and I searched it up to see when it came out the film was already like 6 years old at that point never watched but I know that it exists 😂
I know its an unpopular opinion but I grew up with the first two movies and I have always prefered the second movie over the first! The idea of him being lost in the biggest city in the country is way higher stakes then just being at your home. Also the traps were way better in lost in new york imo. Also the new actors stole the show here! Tim Curry Rob Schneider they were gold! Glad to see Avert agrees! Home Alone 3 is also surprisingly pretty good imo while Home Alone 4-6 absolutely suck!Excited to watch the commentary and the rest of the parts too!
Also the second movie is really the only one where they changed and builded up from the formula of the original. All the other ones just end up doing the first movie again.
@@tevenpowell8023 Exactly! The others don't even seem like there trying! People say lost in new york copies the original to much but it is definitely the most unique out of any of the sequels!

Home Alone was such a fun idea for a movie. I love how it feels like a cartoon in the sense that the burglars are getting hurt in funny ways that would 100% kill you in real life. This is some of the most fun you can have watching a movie

In the book version of home alone the neighbor who saves kevin in the first film is kevin from the future. And kevin failed to protect his house and his dad is upset that kevin fail to protect the home
Oh and one more thing when you watch parak or leafie remember to watch the original, have subtitles, because with parak it’s hard to find the English dub, and with leafie the dub cuts out some things that are either minor or the Sun that ruin the film, mainly the ending both have some genuinely shocking moments that are pretty bossy even compare to what Disney can do so please remember that love you guys 🫶🤟🏼
Good to hear you enjoy the comentarys. As for the recomendations. Perhaps some day. We curently have a very big backlog of recorded and planned comentarys. So it probably wont happen any time soon if we get to it at all. Besides that we tend to record comentaries with English voiced versions of movies! This is due to a few reasons but one of the important ones is that live comentating while reading subtitles is a near impossible task. This is especially dificulty becouse we never pause to say what is on our mind. This means that we have to hold a conversation, comentate on what happening in the movie and follow the movies it self. If we add reading subtitles to that than we probably have to sacrifise one of the other things I just mentioned which is not a good thing to do. I hope you understand. I hope you enjoy the Home alone double feature! And thanks for your kind words.
I find it so funny that home alone is the number 1 target of armchair critics who want to feel smart, when ironically its one of the most airtight family movies ever written
I have an idea for an interesting commentary on the channel: The SpongeBob movies (a triple feature like the Cars video). Since from what I remember of those movies, they just went on a gradual decline as they went on. 1st movie: Peak comedy Sponge out of water: Home Alone 3 levels of mid Sponge on the run: Poop Edit: I forgot to mention that the movie Kevin was watching, “Angels with filthy souls” was featured in Detective Pikachu
1:40:53 Avert is bullshiting, but there are a couple of sections of the Berlin Wall in the city centre that never got removed. The residents just have to live with that.

15:30 I think it's safe to say that if you're trying to argue old movies are worse than new ones that you would need a really, really solid argument. So anyways, the singular piece of evidence this long-forgotten student came up with was one plot hole in one old movie that sheds no light on 99.9% of all other old movies, is completely irrelevant to how good or bad modern movies are, and doesn't even prove Home Alone specifically is bad since it doesn't take into account the entire rest of the movie. And the cherry on top: they were wrong about it being a plot hole in the first place. Here's an equivalent argument just to show off how stupid that is. "New scientists are better than old ones because Einstein said the earth was a donut." I don't expect perfect logical soundness from random schoolchildren, but good Lord.
