- One of the most defenseless and helpless feelings is going through a time when you are praying for a spouse or child that has walked away from God. Maybe your spouse is completely walked away from your marriage. Or maybe your child has left home and is forsaken everything that you have worked so hard to teach them. I want to share some thoughts with you that the Lord has given me during my time of trial. Hopefully it will be in encouragement to you
This came up on my feed and it was exactly what I needed to hear. Thank you Jesus and wow thank you for the encouragement!

Thank you brother!!! This was so needed. I’ve been wanting to give up. People have been saying throw in the towel but I keep hearing God say your victory is near and that he is doin a new thing. Thanks for your videos. I have an issue where my prodigal husband, who is living at home goes on business trips to the town where the OW lives and know there is also telephonic contact everyday. It's so hard for me but I stand in faith and the promise God made. I pray for his heart and mind, for God to speak to him everyday and night and then I thank God in advance for what he is doing and going to do.

Three months no contact at all with my wife but praying and believing in God but the emotional is rollercoaster
Same here! Sometimes I feel like giving up and feel like I’m nothing to my husband... we’ve actually talked on the phone but he’s still so angry and has said awful words to me he also did say he was going to regret what he’s doing to me....but since I’ve been praying a lot for our marriage I stood quiet after all the awful words he said to me... God has a plan for our marriage we must keep the faith although sometimes it’s really hard but I pray every time the

Thank you for the anointed Word. I was a great wife, I tended to all of his needs, I spoke life into him, etc. It's hard. How could he leave? Three months no contact. Trying not to let my faith get weary. I've gone full throttle studying the Word. How do I know to stand or let go to see if God has better for me?

He sent me a text Thursday saying there's not a day goes by that he doesn't think about me and that he has prayed for me and us, and that he just hoped all is well with me. Now my mindset wants to know is he sincere or are we going to keep doing this dance our whole life? (BTW, we have been NC for 4 and a half months) I just replied thank you and I hope you're doing well too. 🤦🏽♀️

And to hear that your spouse contacted you. And to see that you’re still reserved is a sign that you’re staying focused regardless of hearing from him. I believe God for the reconciliation of you and your spouse. It’s happening slowly. Just keep God first!!! Keep studying his word. Listening to his voice and he will continue to lead you in the right direction!
BRANDI well sometimes you can’t listen to your family. You have to listen to the voice of God only. The more you lean on God the more clarity you will get. The more God will tell you what to do.
@@Bee_613 I agree with Quanniee BayBee. You have to keep the faith. I cried many a nights. I had to search my heart and get bitterness out of my heart. I knew God was not going to send him back to me if I had an unclean ❤️. I went cold turkey off of social media. Any extra time in the day I listened to sermons by Joel Osteen, T D Jakes and Jimmy Evans and of course Lakeidra! 😊 I thanked God everyday for my husband's return. I didn't speak defeat. I started thinking there are people out there with bigger problems than me, so I started thanking God for the blessings that I have already ( healthy kids, house, car, job) instead of complaining to God about my husband. I did a 180* mindset! Everyday was not a good day, but I knew I had God on my side because he HATES divorce. You can do this, sis. God said if you just have faith of a mustard seed! Be encouraged! I'm praying for you!

What do you mean I’m not supposed to bless him? Doesn’t the Bible say to bless your enemies? I’m confused, really confused. I’ve been blessing my prodigal husband for months now, why am I not supposed to?
The book of hosea gives the guidelines for this and the story of the prodigal son. This isn’t always the best approach. There are times and places where we have to get out of the way so God can move. Sometimes we are so determined to prevent them from getting hurt that we keep the from the hog pen God is trying to put them in so they can be humbled.
