The secret returns it to hand before the deathrattle returns it to hand. Neither duplicates the minion, both function off of the same instance. The secret was played first so it procs first.

It's consistent afaik, you can't return something to your hand twice. Brann'd brewmasters only give you 1, double spirit echo only gives you 1.
