www.djtutor.com... www.djtutor.com... So how do you get free music, who gets free music, why can't i have free music, what do you have to do to get loads of free 12" and cd's???
He is right, listen to this man. I have not had to really look for music in years. I open my email and i have new music right in my email straight from the record company and i play it in the clubs weeks sometimes months before anyone hears it on the radio. I havent bought music in about 3 years.
dude i found your videos by accident and i havent looked back. these give the best advice and your super cool about it. the music industry is full of a bunch of cutthroats and yet your pushin us through the door. thanks man and keep the great videos comin!!
my friend, you've taught me a lot about mixing and i love it. i wouldn't have a clue whats going on with out you. but i was hoping you could help out us COMPLETE beginners. how to choose and acquire your first equipment and DJ setup. im really having trouble with this one. first because of my tight budget and second because i cant figure out whats over doing it and whats under doing it.
I highly enjoyed and learned a great deal from all your videos. You're awesome in instructing dj viewers to be their best. I highly recommend you to all my dj friends. Keep up the great work. I'm delighted that you've continued to motivate others in reaching they goals. It takes a special person to be a team player. Thanks for allowing me be part of your family. TheDjcandyman1. Have a great year 2012!
I just found this guy's vids and I've already learned a ton that I can't wait to implement! I wish I found him so much sooner! I just have one question - who exactly do you contact to "apply" for these promotional records, cd's, etc.? Do you go to the record company's site, find a number, and contact them directly or what? Maybe I'm complicating it a bit, but I'd rather know for sure what I'm doing and who I'm trying to contact than make an ass out of myself! PLEASE KEEP THESE VIDS COMING!!
I never knew this. You have got to be the best D.J ever. You fun, and this video is a fantastic idea for getting cd's you would like. DO YOU work as a d.j?
I found this to be rather interesting. Does the same thing apply to a DJ that basically caters to House Music and if so how does that work, when then music isn't as mainstream as the R&B, Hip Hop, etc... P.S. I loved the ending of this tutorial.
this is brilliant - loves it! was that Champion record by Kristine W by any chance? :p I've been searching for her Don't Wanna Think 4x12" promo pack for years *lol*
@jaycool9 I know that feel bro. Just released my new EP, and already tons of pirated downloads on the internet. A Quick google search Omnitica free mp3, and I realized that it's hard to make money on your music.
Unless they need the income to continue making that music you enjoy. Should authors write books for free? Actors make movies for free? What if your a doctor and love it? Should you do that for free? Or is it that you just don't want to pay for music?
so ellaskins, even though you dont have any regular shows right now, could you get more new promo stuff because you have so many veiwers on youtube? you should try that.
you hypnotise me. just watching your video. hearing your voice.
its great!

You're a fool if you think pirating music is actually destroying the music industry. It isn't.
I never knew this. You have got to be the best D.J ever. You fun, and this video is a fantastic idea for getting cd's you would like. DO YOU work as a d.j?
Serato + White Label = Free Win
Damn Johnathan, you sure know how to rap.

I have plenty of those records cause they sell them anyway , but it's cool , I like to pay for good music.

is isnt illegal to play the promo's to public crowds unless the venue has a music licence.
What if the band is done making music?
@jaycool9 I know that feel bro. Just released my new EP, and already tons of pirated downloads on the internet. A Quick google search Omnitica free mp3, and I realized that it's hard to make money on your music.
@luke23waltz agreed !!
I fucking love you.
If you truly loved the music you play you wouldn't anyways.
