Hello, i just want to ask you, if the Marshall Acton II remembers the last pre-selected parameters ( source and volume adjustments), For example if i want to use this along with my laptop via a 3,5mm cable, does it remembers the AUX input source or i have to select it every time the Marshall Acton II is switched off and back on?
Can you confirm that this Acton mark ii does not come with a 3.5 cable with jack in the box? I bought the Marshall Stanmore mark i and it came with a cable to connect to my phone. And that this version is louder than the version 1 speaker? Another thing. I understand that this is a speaker which can be connected to internet ( Alexa ) for Google systems. Am I correct? Great informative video as regards to music.
Well, I actually bought it after listening to Acton (version 1) and am highly disappointed. The sound is nowhere close. I would like to know the reason... Acton II advertises Class D amplifiers with 60 W RMS rating (2 x 15 + 1 x 30). It has a rating mentioned at the back panel as 36W. Could you tell me what that is exactly? In the first version, the same rating was 70 W !
is it powerful enough for a living room? Im thinking connecting it to a record player. Im between this and marshall stanmore which is a little bit bigger. thx.
Hey Hitechking.. I recently got a stanmore multiroom and the volume from 10 percent to 70 percent is very low as compared to the old stanmore1 I even own tht.but when compared the older stanmore is loud even on volume at 30 40 50 60 percent. Can u help and how is this volume
Marshall is an established brand in the Rock world and you tested with hip-hop. That's be like testing Beats by Dre with classical music. But good review otherwise, im considering grabbing one so i stuck around
I'd recommend getting an actual set of desktop PC speakers. These will go into stand by mode automatically after 20 minutes of silence, and they're quite pricey for 2 of them...
Be careful! You can't turn standby mode or even change it! So speaker will go sleep after 20 minutes of silence. This makes speaker absolutely unusable with Apple TV
Hi Bro I have a Question about Monetization I had COPYRIGHT STRIKE and it expired will I get monetized and is it good to delete that Video please Reply 🙏
We have this- its epic BUT the whole Alexa thing is f#$%ing up the whole experience. The crap thing is... it cost more to get one of these WITHOUT Alexa. We cant find the microphone to stab it and kill that b$&@ for good. She freaking goes off all the time.... driving us crazy. There should be a way to deactivate the microphone but there isn't. Get an older model without Alexa or chuck up the extra cash to avoid it if you are like us and dont need/want that freaking thing in your business 24/7. If anyone has figured out how to disable it with doing damage or where to find it to do damage to it, please let me know!
Got pair ... while speakers are good .. but bluetooth connectivity is pathetic specially, when you pair, connection to one speaker keeps dropping.. ruining the whole music listening experience .. will never recommend these speaker pair.
Statistically 85 percent of all dodge challengers and similar sport cars will crash or get into some kind of serious accident. So no kid. Challengers do not impress me at all. And I definitely don’t need a boosted bass in a speaker as I’m a producer not a consumer but thanks for the review.
Just bought mine today. Marshall Acton II sounds really great!! It really rocks my small room. Bass is great! Really value for money.
gonna get it!!! :D
@@DanceDaily yes go! really worth it.
this one or edifiers 1700bts which one would you suggest?
"by far the most unique design" bro they've been making speakers like this since the 60's maybe earlier
He said unique, he didn't say modern.
He was meaning in the Bluetooth speaker world........I assume since Marshall speakers are known to just about everyone.
The container he opened said “Established 1962”
Thanks for the sound quality demo!
Picking mine up tomorrow can’t wait 😛
which is better kilburn 2 or acton 2 for movies? vocals mainly and ome music
OMG I need this in my life.
Loved your review and the lucidity of your explanation and description of the speakers. So based on your review I bought this model today! ~ India 🇮🇳
How’s the sound?
@@allmypicturesofuit’s amazing, the bass is subtle yet prominent and balanced.

Can i couple two acton2 speakers or must i have the multi room models?
Why do all reviewers use the CRAPPIEST music available to mankind? WHY?
copyright i guess
Shut up
Bucease of copyright 🤦♂️
Omg yessss and it’s marshall but they never use ROCK music damnnn I believe there are copyright free rock music out there
My app says I'm connected but music is not coming out of the speaker
Man can you tell me,can we connect mic to it?
killburn 2 vs action 2 ?? According to sound
Nice video. I would like buy this speaker. The sound is colored or flat?
Can you connect subwoofer to acton 2?
You should have tested it with some 'real' music. With natural instruments, voice and so on. But thank you for the nice review.
Will keep that mind appreciate the feedback
@@HiTechKing "real" lmao
You mean copyrighted music 😂
Always try voices/speech, which is an even better test for natural representation.
Agreed. That music sounded super tinny. Made me not want to buy it.

I heard this in a store as I thought for upgrading but It is no way comparable to the old one as I have acton 1 since few years
Today i bought marshall kilburn 2 it sounds really great!! marshall good of all...
Killburn and Acton 2 have a lot difference,Acton has more base and classiness
Hey does it have google assistant?????
is it powerful enough for a living room? Im thinking connecting it to a record player. Im between this and marshall stanmore which is a little bit bigger.
thx.
It should be good enough for a medium sized living room. I have a 20x20 room and it fills it up nicely.
@@HiTechKing The sound quality is a bit vintage.
Why every reviewer always use some bad and weird songs for test instead using some with high volume and good bass/subbass
do you have a similar link to buy from amazon UK?
What’s the battery life on it?
is not portable, you need to plug it
How's the bass sound ? Thanks
Satisfying xx

Great very clear Song 👍
GJ! With Love from Russia
You should have gone for atleast one song with vocals.
Song name?
I have a big doubt, is this speaker portable? I mean, does it has a battery incorporated or it has to be plugged all the time??
Bro in the video says that it needs to be plugged in all time! Marshall has their portables too, you can check them at their official webpage.
Marshall kilburn is portable
*Thank you for the GREAT O.O.B. review!*

Is it gold or rose gold?
Rolex sir💥
Hello, I would like to know if i could use the Acton II without electricity connection as the Kilburn? Thank you!
No

Good review. Next time play actual good music, like rock/ metal. Marshall is known for been a guitar amplifier not a speaker for carppy music
Rock and Metal fucking sucks bro
No remote control
Small and super expensive
