    Cool to see a modern creekboat that uses more technology than just volume to ride well. Looking forward to giving this one a go!

    Extremely jazzed for this boat. Like Pyranha read my mind after I paddled the 9R2 and designed to match. Can't wait to boat one.

    We can't wait to test the Scorch. Looks like it's pushing the game forward.

    Looks sweet, love the concept, and love Pyranha's blue. I've always favored Jackson, but I also like Pyranha, Dagger, and Liquid Logic too. In Appalachia/SE where I paddle, you don't come across other brands that often, other than those four. There are exceptions of course. Look forward to seeing the Scorch do its thing.

    With 4 sizes of this bad boy to choose from, who's going to want to buy any other Creek boat; Pyranha's included?
    I think you've just made one boat to rule them all.
    We wants it my precious!

    When for the Small?

    Tell me this boat is a good boat for a 2nd year paddler doing 2/2+ 3 class rivers. Coming from the mamba 8.5 1st generation. 5’11” 215lbs look Ming to get into the large. Is this going to punish me to hard or is it more forgiving then some are claiming. Looking to get more edgy and more speed than mamba and looking to advance my skills. Give me the beta please 🙏🏻

    Been looking for a new creeker. But I would like to go shorter. 9+feet on a medium is a bit long for my liking. And your small probably won't accommodate a 190 lb paddler. ☹️. Will be curious as to what it finally specs out at.

    I’ve been looking to replace my Shiva for a while now and this might be it. My only concern is the lower volume in the stern but it sounds like the newer designs mean you don’t need all the volume anymore. How do you think the medium will work for Cali overnighters for a 160 lbs old timer? (Turned 40 last year)

    • @NextAdventurePDX
      @NextAdventurePDX  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It should be a great boat for overnighters just so long as you pack light! The lower stern volume of course means less room for gear. It'll be a sick boat for Cali rivers for sure!

    I hope the small ends up being good for 120lb paddler weight... I am pretty average size for a female, so I don't think that's too much to ask!

    • @NextAdventurePDX
      @NextAdventurePDX  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I can't confirm that for certain yet since it's still in the works, but based on the plan I heard for it I think you'll be pleased!

      We will have some Black & Gray (black base, gray bow/stern, red handles) at Next Adventure. Other than that it will be standard color options; Blue Crush, Orange Soda, and the limited edition blue/red.

    If I’m 165 lbs, do you think I’ll be OK in a large?

    • @NextAdventurePDX
      @NextAdventurePDX  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dave weighs about 170-175, and we've certainly seen some folks smaller than that paddling the large, but you would definitely be well within the weight range of the medium also. If you want that extra volume from the large just be prepared to put a little extra padding in the seat and thighs!

    I am assuming Dave was paddling the large? How much do you weigh Dave?

    • @mitch4christ1
      @mitch4christ1 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I think Dave is around 175lbs. Bet he'll paddling the Medium typically, they just aren't out yet.

    • @NextAdventurePDX
      @NextAdventurePDX  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Mitch is correct, Dave weighs right about 170-175 and is right about 6' tall. He had a fair amount of outfitting in the large Scorch we used in the video. I'm about 180 and 6' and felt really comfortable in it the way that he had it outfitted, but I'm still looking forward to the medium as that's generally more my size of boat.

    ...excited to see a 10 foot creeker....projected width and volume on the X? Please don't be afraid to go big. There are a ton of big guys, good athletes (not just fat asses) who would run the hard stuff if boats were built for them!

    • @NextAdventurePDX
      @NextAdventurePDX  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Still haven't seen a prototype on the X, so I'm not sure on width yet. We will definitely be doing a whole other video on the X when it shows up; super excited about that boat!
