After playing against Anubismon, and considering the Garurumon line and Loogamon, I have come to the conclusion that purple was a mistake. Hopefully Bandai has the strength to do what must be done. Ban an entire color
I mean purple is strong but I don’t think they should get rid of the color a lot of people like the combo it can pull off. I think over all the sets it’s just getting a lot stronger so I can see if they want to move forward restricting old cards and with new card design can make it still have the feel of what purple can do and not be overpowered. I appreciate your thoughts!
I hope things get hit before english gets them, all for purple dominance but i cant stress how much i hate 1 sided matches even when im the one winning.
With the knowledge of the training cards looming ahead seeing hits to either Mirage or Shine. I don't know anything specific for mirage. One of the Marcus is definitely suspect for being banned between BT12 or BT13. BT12 would really slow down the deck. BT13 would be a good hit as the threshold of -DP will go down. That card being a memory setter, gain memory on digivolve, and -DP is cracked. BT13 Geogreymon is another card to consider. It does enable some of the stronger yellow Vaccine decks coming up. The BT12 Shinegreymon could also slow down how fasts those Marcus will end the game. I firmly will say one of the Marcus will get hit without a doubt. Seeing the upcoming purple reign in the distance there are a lot of cards that enable purple that you could really pick to slow them down. Garurumon X, Eyesmon Scatter Mode, or Analog Youth. Tsunomon BT6 maybe? Anything to slow down the milling just like how they brought Beelzemon in line. You could also target some of the really good cards that are freely being summoned all the time. BlackGatomon with rush comes to mind. Ignitemon could be considered. It enables Merva which goes crazy with the upcoming Anubismon. Plus you always have the option of the insane removal Ignitemon can give. I feel if you hit Eyesmon Scatter Mode that just forces people to use the garuru purple engine to enable their decks. More decks are going to need ways to manipulate or interact with their trash because the true power of Apocalymon is the milling.
That’s a really solid point with slowing down purples milling power. Recently I been watching gameplay of bt14 and that yellow vaccine deck is definitely a power house so I didn’t even think about the geogreymon but I could see it. I feel like mirage really strong in ultimate cup format. I don’t think the deck is so powerful that it doesn’t let the other player play the game. But I only have played against that deck once. I appreciate your thoughts!
