- We stopped in to see a private car collection in Port Fairy, Australia and it's quite something else. We were surprised to see how many American cars were inside that would have been shipped over seas. Anytime Aussies buy/ship cars from America, you're talking big money, especially with the exchange rate. Once we left this collection, we got to check out our new friend Digby's personal collection back at the train carriage we're staying in 👏

If you see a key cylinder in the fender of an older car, that's the security system. I believe it kills the ignition system and such. Didn't have remotes back then 😊
Could be an alarm
Chad, the red 76' GTS Holden Monaro is the R/T of the Charger in the 70's, but although its rare, they did come in a 2 door also, which are rarer.
That key lock on the Corvette fender is a factory car alarm.
Chad wants to make all those 4 doors into 2 doors.

That key lock on the Corvette was for an alarm they used to add. It would prevent being towed and would go off if it wasn't level.
I bought a 81 Corvette when I was 25. Nobody told me it had a alarm. It went off one day after I got off work and I couldn’t even get in it. Had to call the dealer to learn the trick to turn off the Alarm and get in.

It's fun to see so many nice cars you haven't seen before and in such good condition. Jolene is really a good photographer, although I would like to see her in front of the camera as well and not just behind it.

Hi both' even though they were built here in the UK! You will see many the mini you showed in this video only incollections because they were so rotten they fell too pieces especially the cills and the A pillars.
I think the 88 and 98 were in the Oldsmobile family, one of the five General Motors brands, six if you count GMC trucks there was Cadillac, Pontiac, Oldsmobile, Buick, Chevrolet, and GMC trucks

In the vids, a lot of 4 door cars are built to almost full modified. Is it because there aren't any 2 door cars left? Very few I am sure.. Really nice builds tho.

Most everything at chads is what he built, and thinks is cool and is no were near the price of some of the collections Chad goes visits.

Number of ports equal 6 for 3 ports V8;for 4 ports.
Doing a V8 in a Jag can be a problem if it is not placed forward enough in the frame. The weight distribution will be wrong and the car will steer like crap.
