- Learn how to crochet a granny square bag in this tutorial video. Hi I'm Donna Wolfe from Naztazia. In this video I show how to make a granny square tote that consists of 12 granny squares sewn together. Then the handle is crocheted on afterwards. This handbag can be made in one color or multiple colors. I'm using a G 4 mm crochet hook and 100% cotton worsted weight yarn.

@@naztazia I’m going to use gold, Christmas Red, Christmas Green, and White! Possibly some Christmas variegated yarn with this pattern for my towel toppers. Right now this idea is a photo in my head...I’m not sure how it will work, I’ll have to let you know!

Yes, scotchgard works great on cotton yarn.
