Craig, I always enjoy your videos. Very informative. I understand your frustration with people you hire not performing up to expectations. However, I don’t think it’s a good look to criticize them in your videos. Mentor them so maybe they will strive to get better at their next job. Keep these excellent videos coming!
He did a shit job, what do u want Craig to say?
I think it’s really good to criticize them, the guy lied about knowing how to detail just to perform multiple errors and not liking fixing those said errors. Good that he talked about it and criticized the horrible job performed
@@leonardocarnero2425 Craig absolutely should have criticized the young man. I personally disagree with doing it on a public forum for the whole world to see. Do you really think that’s a good look for anyone that wants to come work for Craig?
@@ray31129 When I criticized Craig about horrible detail videos, and headlight resto video he did a year ago ,I'm now a troll.
Some people just simply not worth your time and efforts to train, just ignore those PC BS, small business can not afford those political correctness.
I am 99.9% certain that this Tahoe is an old JRM hauling and recycling vehicle, I knew Sully personally, he drove a rear load trash truck but as part of his “benefits” he drove this as his personal vehicle. The former owner and founder of JRM took extraordinary care of his employees, Jim was a great person to work for, he expected the world from his employees but he would be willing to give you the world in return if you worked for it. I truly miss working for him and I hope he’s enjoying life after selling to Republic for almost half a billion dollars
Spelab racing 🎉🎉🎉
Tip from razor blade user, buy some plastic razor blades to take all that excess stuff, like 10 dollars for 100 and they don’t scratch paint or clear coat nearly as much as metal blades
When talking to Jeremy more specifically when you're trying to teach him something, before telling him what he did wrong, 1st tell him something that he's done well or right... It will go a long way morale wise for him...
Great video. I think these are the best type of videos you do. Gives us regular Joe's motivation to try this ourselves.
Craig, love the knowledge sharing that you do on these videos. Great transformation and really gets me interested in looking into flipping cars. Keep up the awesome videos.
Spelab Racing! Thanks for all you do Craig. I wish I lived closer to you and your dealership, I’d love to buy my next car from you. Keep up the amazing work!
SpeLab Racing. I am a big fan of your channel and dealership. Your channel has played a big part in inspiring me to start trying to flip cars. I finally bought my first one, and hopefully, I'll be selling it next week!
Update, Austin? How'd YOU do with your first car?
I like how you show us in the videos how to fix things I find it just as interesting as the rest of your content bro keep up the excellent work
I grew up in the East Coast and I could never be a dealer back there. The rust on the Ford is so far beyond what even the oldest cars here in Colorado look like underneath. Craig, feel free to reach out to me if you want to source some rust free western vehicles.
Love all your videos no matter how short or long they are buddy. Very informative and entertaining.
Man it'd be nice if all used car dealers cared this much. You are definitely legit man. Here in Ga I don't think there's 1 honest used car dealer. Here they are in the business of saving crap cars at a price with payments nobody can afford. So they repo them. I had a friend that detailed at one and he said he'd seen 1 truck repoed 4 times in 1 yr
20:06 - The reason you don’t skip a video. The small things matter.
😂
Don't go in on your ex/employees. You sound like a good guy, but also a smartass.
You have a good business. Last thing you need is locals with bad intentions
I have watched every one of your videos on both of your pages keep up the good work! Thanks! Spelab racing!
Spelab racing. Thanks for being open about the ins and outs of running a dealership
For the employee that quit, I will give you a piece of advice, actually a quote that has helped me trained many successful leaders. "If you want to build a ship, don't drum up people to collect wood and don't assign them tasks and work, but rather teach them to long for the endless immensity of the sea." - Antoine de Saint Exupéry
Thats BS you need always a leader in any Team..if not you will not win any Games..so a Quarterback or Teamleader is a must to be succesfull..like sheep they always need a sheepheard..😂
@@ricksworlddereaux2397 I'm talking about leaders, not dictators. QB's are captains, there are roles, but it doesn't mean that you shouldn't ever consider yourself not a leader. But, true, some people don't want or have the ability to lead themselves in their lives and their goals and they would prefer to be "sheep" and be "herded".
@@orated762 yes..its about domination, and be dominated..or bravery and cowardice..a dude with low testosteron will be a coward, and one with high will be brave..thats why Women are mostly never will be dictators...its due of their oestrogen hormones...these are facts..and if you too nice,to will be screwed or be a victim..thats your problem..that got you issues..like with a black corvette buyer..i would never sell it to.him..a good idom you can sell to any buyer..with patience..🤔
This was a great video, Craig, reminiscent of the first couple of videos I ever watched on your channel. You're a great dealer with the way you check every item on the car before sending it out on a sale. That Tahoe turned out VERY nice. Well-done and thank you for bringing us along.
Well...Here it goes... SPELAB RACING I can't get enough of your videos. Thanks for sharing the ins & outs of what to look for when buying/selling vehicles. Your insights are priceless. It's really nice to know there are honest car dealers still left.
OH! Your detailing skills are superb!
Impressive- thanks for taking us along.
I really enjoyed- have a great weekend!
SPELAB RACING , great video I love how much I’ve learned from you already but I’d also like to add that the cutouts don’t add any horsepower at least not right away without a tune any mod done to a vehicle would then need to be tuned to account for that increased performance or else the computers just going to proceed working as regular meaning you’ll have the same amount of power as before
Craig, a great product for black plastics and rubber: Penetrol. It can be simply wiped on a clean surface with a rag and will bring back many black materials instantly. Color uniformity and even ness is easy. If you decide after you still want to paint, it's a great oil based paint prep. Helps even out spray paint finish if you like using satin black. I believe it is part linseed oil, and it lasts very well. If you miss a spot, easy to touch up.
Spelab, like tagged and shared from Colorado
Absolutely cannot paint over penetrol. All that has to be removed before paint. been painting cars and airplane for 40yrs. oil an auto paint do not mix at all!
Spelab Racing! So glad I came to your page and found your content! So much insight!
SpeLab Racing. Thank you for all the videos. Keep up the great work!!
By the way, I've worked for G.M. for 30 plus years, from stamping to final finish. Ya, complete factory, from floor to management. Any questions about vehicles and the build process and people behind the scenes I will share my knowledge with you and your viewers. I've rubbed elbows with Lee Iacoca,Marry Bara, Mark Reuse... and others. Again, willing to share my knowledge.
Muriatic acid is nasty stuff. I use a face shield and gloves up to my elbows. Prob should use a respirator as well.
Maybe gloves but you always water it down..98% of the time your completely fine
He's obviously using it at 100% that's when it's real nasty lol lol😢😮
Love putting some with aluminum foil in a coke bottle 😂
Yea thats concentration hydrochloric acid, always eye pro and gloves, if it gets in your eyes minimum of 20 min washing them out, also I would consider trying to really dilute the floor after using it on a rim, the environment will thank you
As a kid I worked in a car wash that sprayed that on the wheels as the car went into the wash. At the end of my shift I had an acid “sunburn” on my face.
Spelab Racing
Loving the video's. Learning a lot while also super entertained. Turned into an automatic click to watch from me. Thanks man.
Spelab Racing
been following your channel for a minute, this is inspiring im looking forward to open a dealership myself
Call your detailing "Elbow Grease". We know that's what it takes.... cheers from Canada as always, love your channel.
The damage to the clear could be fallout from all the crap in the air at the salvage yard.
Finally an Honest car dealer. Love your videos
Spelab racing. Love your videos, keep ‘em coming.
Craig, I have to give it to you…YOU’RE A CLASS ACT! Thank you for making these videos. I’m sure we ALL appreciate them!!
craig, isopropyl alcohol works amazing for pine sap on things. Defiantly don't use it on paint like the Ferrari haha but something your planning to do a full clean a polish on it works wonders!!!
Love the Auction and follow up videos. Kindest regards. 🇨🇦🇨🇦
I have started watching your channel religiously and you give me some hope that there are some car dealers out there that give a damn! I’ll jump in and see if I can catch the giveaway for spelab racing, I have a perfect person to give them to!
Craig another Banging video! I have been watching your videos for a long time and I really appreciate all your honesty and information you pass on to your followers Love all your content
I appreciate that!
Hi Craig. That British Racing Green LTZ was a job well done. And nice profit as well. But it's definitely hard work pulling some Cars back from the brink. But your the Master at that. A proper Perfectionist as I have said before. I would love that LTZ over here in Ireland. I think you will have a hard time finding someone with your Standards. I doubt there's anything you don't know about making a Vehicle happy again 😅😅 🇨🇮🇨🇮
Spelab Racing. Love your channel, so much solid information and you're an entertaining guy. Those cutouts would be amazing on my '68 Camaro 3' exhaust (the Silver Bullet)!
Really enjoy when you recon the older cars. SPELAB RACING
Maybe you could call your cleaning line "Flying [product]", like Flying Decon and Flying Polish
ill never forget my uncle after I got my first bought car: ‘it needs a good detail.’ It was a big mess but damn it was 80% clean give it to me I was 19. damn it still stings
Spelab Racing
Appreciate the insight on purchasing a car and looking past what it is to what it could be!
That was a good episode, Craig. Thank you.
Don't blame the kid because he doesn't have an eye for detail. If you want experience you have to pay for it.
You need to try to employee one of these entitles. I learned at a young age to respect my elders most of all employer. Paid for an hour one needs to work the entire hour if you dont know ask. If Craig can entice them to put out effort they both win. At least he cares.

I know you're a busy man I have never worked on my car before I'm retired now and really want to wax buffing my car but I don't know the products to use it would be a big help only when you have time to answer me back thank you love your videos
My 2013 Chevy avalanche does that with the AC too. Specially on really hot days. Its done that since i got it new and still does it now👌🏽

Thanks Craig
In rust prone areas, such as where I live in the rust valley, I use bar & chain oil mixed 50/50 in a pump sprayer & coat the entire underside of vehicles.
Spelab Racing

SPELAB RACING. Just found your channel. Looking forward to watching more videos.
Hey Craig, repeated many times but thanks for the informative videos. I’m pretty much retired and am thinking of getting my dealers license. I have a few simple tips for you on the GM pickups and other headliner stains. On the sunroofs not sure if you know but there is also rear sunroof drains that clog. Sometimes you can get to them from the rear inner 1/4’s it not you have to drop the rear portion of the headliner. Also we have had great success removing the headliner stains with an enzyme cleaner with the steam and extractor. We would get that from Kar Care Dist. We have also had decent success with Sprayway foaming glass cleaner. It’s good for just about everything, even prep for painting plastic parts.
Phil from NY
Awesome video Craig spelabs!!!
Hayooo spelab racing! I thought about these for our spare truck that we use for hauling. Would be fun to put these on my wife's tahoe haha.
