Hi Dansky I am a graphic designer, a beginner and I really love watching your videos. From Liberia, West Africa.
I really feel like I've hit a goldmine by finding your channel today. I am a beginner programmer who wanted to learn some design to help ease the learning process with JavaScript a little and your videos have made Illustrator go from being an absolutely frustrating tool for a newb like myself to something that is actually very fun to use. Thank you so much for being there for newbies like myself.
Thanks so much Michael, hopefully the other Illustrator videos are also helpful 😊
Things that are new to me
- Shift-sample tool on gradients
- Hold-F while using curve tool
- Arrow keys and alt to adjust star
- Ctrl for minor increments
- Calculation on values
Amazing! Glad the video was helpful John 😊
WOW!! So many new features I didn't know, thank you for sharing! I also love how quick and simple your tutorials are. So helpful and a time-saver! And finally I know how to get the exact color instead of gradient
Glad it was helpful Norza! 🙂👍
Hello Dansky, thank so much for your most generous, simple, crystal clear, and super fun explanations! You are the best!!
Just realised that there's always more to learn. Helpful tips. Thanks man.👍
I've been using Illustrator since the 90s and was amazed to find a good few tips here that I never knew. Thanks Dansky - another top notch video! Keep them coming
Hey that’s great to hear! Happy to help 😊
Hey! Dansky. I'm a beginner at graphic design and I find your videos really precise and helpful. I'm grateful for your service. Thanks for sharing and Good Luck!🙏
Same here. Literally Im always impressed how much I learn from a single video of this guy. The other channels are great too but Dansky is another level. He rocks.

Thanks bro, appreciate this one...time to level up!
Great tips!
Few remarks. The resolution of images is in ppi, not in dpi. Images are in pixels, not in dots.
The shortcut for zooming is Ctr/Cmd+Space bar and goes nicely with a space bar for hand tool.
Dansky this is perfect. Informative, engaging, concise. Thank you
Glad it was helpful!
Excellent video, as always. Thank you! My biggest take-homes were the colour picker one and the 'default save to computer'.
Cheers Nick! Glad it was helpful 🙂
26 - You can also exit the isolated area with one click :D, by clicking on the "gray tape" (sorry, not sure how to describe it better) where the Layer 1-Group-Compound Path are.
Great tips as always Dansky!
Thanks for the tip Jelica!
Great video as always Dansky!
Keep up the good work!
Thanks, will do Daniel! 👊
Perspective grid shortcut to turn it on and off is Command-Shift-I / CTRL-Shift-I Thank you for the tips. The one with the color picker is cool and will save me some nerves :)

Hey Dan, I've spent, literally, countless HOURS over the years moving around my artboards manually!!! I had no idea (probably didn't think to look tbh lol) that AI had this artboard setting!! This is all good stuff!!! Thanks!
Another little gem Dan. I watch mainly for the entertainment value.
Thanks John! 😃
Love your Content! Thankyou
I appreciate that!
30 out of 20 Secrets tips i already know but btw thanks, Very informative !
Been meaning to comment for a long time but never got around to it. Really great videos. Thanks. I am a business owner who also needs to use essentials of Ai, Ps and Id, so your videos are extreemy helpful. Whoever at Adobe made the perspective tool so difficult to actually close should be in a straight jacket. Thanks for including that one.
Thanks Mark, really appreciate you taking the time to comment, means a lot 🙂 Aha yea it's pretty frustrating when it pops up and won't go away!

Thank you for providing well work ticks....
Glad you like them!
Its really Helpfull Amazing
Brilliant. Another worthy addition to your videos. One thing with Illustrator I have always wanted is for the anchor points to have a wider range of 'pick up'. Do you know if there is a way to expand the scope of the anchor points so you don't have to hit them dead on to select them?
Edit > Prefrences > Selection & Anchor Display > Anchor Points, Handles & Bounding Box Display and use that slider to where ya want it
Helps me a loooot ❤
Great thank to TH-cam, to recommend your channel,
